I really enjoyed my stay, and extended for 2 nights. Right behind the Zocalo, so definitely noisy, but didn’t stop me from getting a good nights rest. Mattresses were very firm but that was good for the back. Bathrooms were cleaned daily and the showers were always hot. Staff was helpful and main receptionist is fluent in English. Great Wifi throughout. Free drinking water. Terrace and hangout room were great places to meet people. Bike rental was cheap and bikes were comfy and smooth.

I had a great time at Mexiqui Zocalo. Expect a warm staff, a very centralized place to explore, lots of fun and interesting travelers and an overall lively experience. I stayed for 5 nights of my trip and made a lot of friends while getting a good taste of what the city had to offer. Can't really ask for more with what you pay per night to stay here.

I was able to upgrade rooms last min for more privacy. Great response rate via email. Toilet stall is too small and do not lock. Showers are nice and hot. They need a men and womens restroom on each floor. Bathroom cleaned daily. It is loud till 10 or 11pm then quite. Blankets smelled fresh. They let me use 4. They were very warm, I had a fever. Staff spoke English but not super helpful with recommendations. Location is perfect. No cool common room to hangout. Overall I do recommend this hostel.

Unbeatable location with an amazing terrace view of the Cathedral. Bathrooms were filthy, water cut out on me completely 2 minutes into my shower. Twice found the bathroom without toilet paper and paper towels. Was unable to check out twice because no one was to be found at the desk downstairs. There is club on Friday and Saturday night on the terrace. Fun but dont count on sleeping before 1am because of the noise.

The location is amazing and the dorm is well thought out with two lockers and a reading light for each bed. However, the bathroom didn’t have locks, sometimes no toilet paper and were a long way from the dorm. Also ther Music was stupidly loud. I don’t usually mind but this was unnecessarily loud for too long. Plus the bar on the roof is open to the public so didn’t feel very secure. There are better places to stay.

Hostel was in good location but the bathroom was not cleaned and smelled horrible. Space in toilet is small. You're lucky to sit in without the door opening. Really loud noise starting at 7--8am because restaurant is getting ready to open. Lous till about 12am. Would not recommend the hostel

Late night music is so loud and obnoxious. Bathrooms are tiny and at times very unclean. Shade was broken in our room and never fixed so window was just, open. Breakfast is a sad excuse for breakfast. At least offer fruit or yogurt as a side. English is not spoken among staff as advertised.
