The best way to get the full cultural experience! Everybody was very accommodating, kids running around, food was amazing! Shower did not have great pressure but it made it more of an ethnic experience. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I had a night bus and they even let me keep my stuff next to my bed and check out late so that I could focus on trekking and not packing. They even arranged taxis for cheaper price and served hot pot dinner early before my bus. GET HOTPOT!!

Totally beautiful place for chilling out, going on a walk with locals and enjoying a home cooked meal. Definitely book to stay here if you want an authentic experience and to recharge after the madness of Hanoi

Miku Chill House was a really nice place to stay near Sa Pa! The food was really good and the family was super nice! We did a trekking with a Hmong guide and we really loved it! The view at Miku Chill House is amazing and so peaceful! The only thing is that the beds in the shared room were a little uncomfortable, otherwise would definitely recommend!

Miku is the nicest person we meet ever. Her place is the best starting point to go trekking. You do not even need a guide. Two nice trekking paths are really close to the house. And the locals guide you for little money or none at all just so that they can talk.

Mikus homestay was the perfect location to go hiking and explore the mountains. She offers guided tours for half days and full days, her food is amazing (definitely recommend the family dinner) and her family is lovely. The private rooms are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are basic but all you need. Thanks Miku for a great stay!

We loved this Hostel come home stay- chill by name chill by nature. Lovely friendly family and amazing views over the paddy fields. Family dinner was so nice, as was the breakfast. Requires a longish bumpy taxi journey there but so worth it to get out of the touristy centre of Sapa. You can also do your own walks from here or go on a trek with the family. We will be back!!

Lovely chilled out place to relax in with a nice veranda, hammocks and lovely views to go with them. Family dinner was also delicious so would recommend you have one of those. It is not the most authentic homestay out there because you definitely feel like a guest but on the whole very pleasant and would go there again.

Really simple and basic homestay in the mountains of SaPa. We enjoyed the homecooked meals, especially the pancakes with a view over the ricefields. We loved our dorm right below the roof. It is an authentic experience with friendly hosts and not too many guests at the same time. We did a full day trekking tour with MiKu‘s cousin for 40$. The homestay offers different classes and trekking tours. The taxi from SaPa to the homestay was 250.000 VND plus 75.000 VND „entry fee“ for the road. .

If you are searching for an authentic stay with locals it‘s perfect. BUT the showers don‘t really work, it is ice cold in the night because the house is made of wood, the owner is never at the reception and she has a 3 year old child and other children who sometimes wake you up when you are trying to sleep. The owners don’t really speak english. Also the prices for tea and other food (which are average) are pretty high and the hiking tours are not good apparantly (other backpackers told us)
