    Superb

The owner was very friendly and helpful. He speaks Spanish. It is an easy walk from the bus station. Everything in town is close. He can provide laundry services. The rooms are simple and have hot water and are warm. The kitchen is easy to use and has space. There are no individual lockers or keys to the room but the owner watches everything like a hawk. You can see condors flying behind the hostel!

Roberto and Julia are accommodating, great people! Pros: Extremely clean, comfortable and quiet, and full kitchen. Cons: pricey for what you get, no lounge area, and they do not allow guests at all even in the kitchen.

Nice little hostel, very clean in all areas. Hot shower. The owner is really friendly and helpful too. WiFi ok in the room, depending on the time (standard for the area).

Small rooms and no lockers in the dorms but very good value for money regardless!

    Fabulous

Very basic hostel. Hot water is hot. No free breakfast. Beds are alright. Because everyone is out adventuring, the rooms can smell like a locker room when everyone returns and take off their boots, shirts, etc. There are no security lockers, and there were not nearly enough outlets to charge electronics. I had to charge mine in the bathroom or on the other side of the room next to someone else's bed. Price was a bit high for a basic hostel. Location was central-ish. Hostel was overall okay.

    Fabulous

A comfortable reasonably priced hostel with very friendly owners. Good mattresses, towels provided and beds made daily. Ideal if you want to go hiking early and return to a hot shower any time of day. Not a very social hostel as the small kitchen is the only real common area.

The owner spoke no english and was very hard to communicate with. Kitchen opening hours were ridiculous as it is a hiking area people are up early but kitchen was not open early. Kitchen also closed too early. One bathroom for the room, no lock on 'door'. Good shower, average kitchen. Would not stay here again, value for money was ridiculous. Everyone else at the hostel agreed with our experience.

Very basic accommodation. No lounge if weather bad. Rooms small. And little room. Beds old.. No breakfast. So you pay a lot for basic. No security. Partition door on toilet in room means you hear everything. On the positive side, fluffy towels. Room cleaned every day and beds made up. Linen changed. Owners helpful but only Spanish spoken. If you are out all day and just staying a few days then this property would be ok but it's a no frills stay.

The ratings on Hostel world for this hostel are very deceptive. We had a terrible experience with the dirty dorms. We booked as a family of 4 and were made to stay separated. For the price charged there are tons of options.
