General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

    Had a good stay here. Very quiet (it was mid november). Key card entrance to room is good. Pool is a great feature. Wi-Fi regularly goes down. The breakfast only available between 8-930am and food for purchase only available until 2pm. Maybe set up a pre order system where chef can prepare food for warming up later as she only works until 2pm. Quite far from anything of interest.

    You get what you pay for. This hostel is literally ~$3/night in Bali, one of the most sought-after vacation destinations in the world. It's not perfect, the staff are either non-existent or rude, but it the facilities are nice enough and it's a good option if you'll be gone all day at the beach.

    Nice hostel, rooms were spacious and beds were comfy, location isn't very good but it was okay for us as it was just a pit stop between places. Not any atmosphere as not many stayed there when we did, and the hostel don't organise anything, no bar or anything either so not good for social but I enjoyed my stay there

    This will definitely be the best hostel you’ve stayed in for US4.50 a night. The facilities are great and clean. However, the staff is insanely incompetent. I mean can’t give directions to the beach (the main attraction in Legian/Bali which is only 15 mins away) incompetent. Also will not help book onward travel, asked about a boat to the Gilis and they told me to go to Sanur dock(45 min drive away) when you can buy the tickets many places in town. The food is gross. You get what you pay for.

    I stayed here a year ago and it was great, this time it was dirty and disgusting. I found a half smoked joint in my bed, the shower was broken, and there was no hot water. The people staying there were very odd too. I was supposed to stay for three nights, I left after the first night and didn’t ask for my money back. The staff is really nice, but the hostel is disgusting now.

    I reserved for 3 nights. I stayed one night. Didn’t even bother asking for my money back. I would not recommend this place unless they remodel and clean up the place. The bathroom was disgusting and there was centipedes in the rooms and the sheets were just plain dirty. I guess I got what I paid for. The staff was very nice though.

    Disgusting. Ants everywhere including in the food the ‘restaurant’ serves. Dirty pool, dirty room. No toilet paper in bathrooms. Rude staff. The food served is absolutely vile and only until 2pm. No atmosphere because everyone leaves after a day because of how awful it is. Most ‘guests’ are friends of staff using facilities for free. Wouldn’t go back if you paid me.

    Filthy walls, stained sheets, dirty pool, our beds were crawling with hundreds of ants, floors were also crawling. There would have been no way to sleep without being eaten alive. When i told the man at the desk he said it "isn't our fault." Did nothing about the ants. Showers were freezing and there were spiders around the toilets, and there's a huge fire ant problem by the pool. Location wasn't great. 20 minute walk to the beach min. AC was poor. Had to switch hotels that night with no refund.
