Property Description

Our pods combine the comfort and privacy benefits of a private room with the price of a shared dorm. We are a small hostel with a family-friendly environment that cares about our guests well-being. We offer amazing value to travellers looking for a quiet, clean and safe place to stay right in the city centre.

La Candelaria is the oldest part of the city and preserves much of its colonial architecture and rich cultural heritage. We are within walking distance of the Gold Museum, the Botero Museum, the Military Museum, the Emerald Museum, the National Library, the Plaza de Bolívar (main square), the Presidential House of Nariño, the Cathedral, Congress, and the Monserrate sanctuary/viewpoint. There are dozens of restaurants and bars within a short walking distance from the hostel. Additionally, we are close to the flea market, bus stops and the pedestrian-only street.

On the ground floor there is a private room with a King Size bed (also available on request for twin accommodation), wardrobe, lamp, bed linen, towels and breakfast are all included in the rate. The shared dorm is on the second floor and it has 7 capsules, each one of its pods is equipped with lighting and power socket. Bedding, pillow, towel are provided and guests have also security lockers at their disposal. There are bathrooms with hot showers available on each floor.

Our room with private bathroom is a lot more than just that, it is actually a duplex suite with two separate areas. On the ground floor, it has its own bathroom, kitchenette (equipped with fridge and microwave oven) and dining table. The bedroom upstairs features a double bed, wardrobe and TV. Even though the suite has a private entrance facing the street, the bedroom is located at the back, away from outside noises. Providing over 30 square metres (350 sq. ft) of living space some may even consider it an apartment!

We have a fully equiped kitchen (stove, fridge, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, cookware, etc). The living room has cable TV. There is free coffee and tea available all day, WiFi and even a computer available for guest use, we also have a small library and an acoustic guitar if you like to play.

Mola Hostel is a purely Colombian project born with the spirit of promoting knowledge about the indigenous Guna people and their traditional Mola art, carefully crafted by women, that is why we offer hand-made Mola products and cultural knowledge workshops to make Mola art, In addition to provide information about the cultural agenda and different tours offered in the Historical City Center.

It's a small hostel but the staff and especially the sleeping pods make it absolutely amazing!

A really nice place! The staff is very nice and helful. Nice beds that you can get a good sleep. The place is very flexible for your requests. They made sure I would almond milk and that the bread is vegan. The shower wasn't so warm but not cold.

GREAT staff speaking both English and Spanish. Good private beds and simple breakfast consisting of eggs, toast, tea, coffee, and fruit. Only complaint was that showers were a little cold.

Nice hostel. Very nice staff, location is good (decently crowded until at least 9pm so feels relatively safe). We stayed in the private “suite”, which was a little noisy as it’s next to the entrance, but comfortable nonetheless. Mattress was OK. The biggest downside was the shower, which had an electric showerhead which only heated the water at really little water flow. Overall would recommend.

Pods were nice but a bit cramped. And they looked like they were never finished. Unpainted plywood framework that creaked with every step and turn. Krabi Slumber Party Hostel in Thailand had pods that looked like Morgue beds seemingly built into a wall. Showers weren’t very warm(I didn't even say hot). Wifi was so so. I’ve had better breaky, but it was nice and free. Owner and son and one staff member were really nice and helpful. Hostel is situated in the historic neighbourhood of La Candelaria.

It was a really relaxing atmosphere, nice comfortable room, but struggled to get a warm shower. The highlight was the owner could not do enough to help us with advice of places to go and even took us to the bus stop to get back the the airport at the end of our stay! Prefect for a weekend/couple of days

Such a great location and we loved he pod style beds. The showers were hard to figure out and one was always cold. There wasn't much of an atmosphere when we got there but there's tons to do on your own Round bogota. I'd recommend if you're looking for somewhere to relax in bogota

    Very Good

A nice little place, but very small. Ask the staff for help getting hot water--it's too cold in Bogotá not to have it! As a solo traveler, this place wasn't the best for making friends, since at one point there were only 3 other guests. Location is good, and staff recommendations were also great.
