The hostel is nice and right on the beach. My partner and stayed in both a private bungalow and a dorm which were great. The staff are really cool. Only down side was that there wasn't power in the rooms or Wi-Fi, though being right on the beach made the experience really awesome. We both definitely would recommend this hostel.

For an island covered in jungle, this is a really awesome place to stay! It is basic accomodation in scenic bungalows. I can see people complaining about mosquitos but it is a JUNGLE and mosquitos were everywhere, not just in the bungalow. We stayed 2 nights because it was a good place to base yourself for any island hopping or activities. The front desk staff were nice and let me use their phone when I needed to call mainland. Overall a good place to stay and we had no problems.

The bungalows are messy, but this is an island so yes sand is everywhere & plumbing issues are bad. If you embrace it then it’s fine! No plug sockets which is a pain, luckily I have lots of power packs. Staff were friendly and being right on the beach is relaxing!

I absolutely loved the experience of staying in a beach bungalow. Go here with an open mind that it is going to be basic (bathrooms were pretty dirty) but embrace this and have a great time! Amazing location close to many bars and restaurants. An amazing escape :)

I was trying to use the bathroom but there was a Metapod in there. Also in between my bungalow and the reception masses of wild Ratatats were appearing.

We liked the bar area and the staff but the room and en-suite felt dirty and dark. We didn’t like being in the room. Stayed two nights before moving to a different hostel

Staying here was definitely an experience, the bungalows are right on the beach and are really basic. The staff are lovely however there are no plugs in the rooms or WiFi, and the bathrooms aren't that great. But we did have a great time here and the location is perfect. Just be prepared that it is pretty basic!

Stayed in a dorm, only one safe in the room, had there been other people in there I’m not sure how it would have worked out sharing a safe. Rooms were stuffy and very open, the mosquito nets did not do much as there were huge holes in them and we could not turn the lights on due to attracting many moths. Think the nets need to be updated. No toilet roll or bin provided in the bathroom. If you can put up with very basic, practically sleeping outside then fine. Only perk was the good location.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! My friend and I spent one night at the bungalow and got severe BED BUGS. When we informed staff, they denied the situation even after we showed them all of our bites. A staff member inspected our room, almost immediately found a bed bug and to our surprise, laughed at us... that’s how seriously they took it. The bungalow itself doesn’t feel very secure — our lock didn’t fully close. Not to mention our fan wasn’t working when we checked in... DON’T stay here.

Rude and unhelpful manager, had bed bugs had to argue to give us a refund because they denied it was bed bugs and blamed on sandflies which the bites did not look like. Lost loads of our cables etc. And didn’t offer or apologise. So badly organised. Volunteer staff where helpful but atmospheres was v quiet
