Great hostel for crashing in for a week on the slopes. Very close to bus stop for each resort. Helpful staff all round, from reception to housekeeping to bar staff. Dorms weren't the cleanest - or biggest for that matter, especially when everyone seems to be carrying large cases full of winter clothes and gear, not much room to move when everything and everyone are in.

    Very Good

Great place for solo travellers to meet people as most people staying there spend a lot of time in the common area and are very social. The staff can usually help with any questions although they seem quite unapproachable. Wifi is not good quality and there was only one wall socket in my shared room, but for the price you pay it is expected. I met heaps of people here and had a good time.

a bit dirty, super cramped in the rooms (even for a backpackers) but they are right in the middle of Echoland which is handy. The nearest ATM in 20 minutes walk away, just as a warning

Very expensive and rooms and bathrooms not well kept. Showers have ripped curtains in the bathroom with a lock on the outside door often only one person would use one of the two available showers at any one time. Rooms were too small to be able to have them cleaned while there are guests still occupying. Location is fine.

Hostel is super basic, not terribly clean, there's one toilet and one shower for 2 dorms essentially. Drying room sucks, had gloves and socks still damp in the morning. Bunks are terrible, can't move a muscle without the whole bunk moving and squeaking. Breakfast is fine, bar food is great and cheap, atmosphere is pretty good at night in the bar. Had the misfortune of getting the room above the staff room who like to get rowdy each night. Located close to free shuttle stop and public onsen.

As per other reviews, this hostel is in a great location with easy access to ski fields & bars & cafes. However, rooms are tiny & not clean. Bathrooms definitely not clean. The bar on site is not a place you would want to spend time and the general atmosphere of the backpackers is not pleasant.
