It was one of the best places we stayed at, I truly loved it. The guy at the reception was so zen and helped us a lot, we really liked him and appreciated his help with booking trains, etc. The garden was beautiful and we felt like we are in a villa... Felt very safe, comfy and taken care of there, which was nice for a change :)

Shailesh the Hotel manager , Ravi the cook and the owner .All of them have been fantastic and made me feel just at ease .The room upgrade was a pleasant surprise. You can see peacocks and scores of other birds in the morning from my balcony view of the garden. Did not feel the need of an AC room as the climate changed from humid to nice cool weather with a evening rain .The hotel is about 1500 MTRS away from the western temples of Khajuraho. Bathroom and all areas are pretty clean .5/ 5 rating.

Had an amazing time here, just so relaxing after the chaos of Delhi and agra. Staff were great about renting us bikes for the day and we had a pleasant cycle around the village. Had a great yoga session in evening, we're not regular yoga practitioners but teacher was very patient and friendly, also educational for us compared to 'western' style yoga. Definitely recommend if you need a post Varanasi/ agra chill time!

I had a wonderful stay at the Center. Shailesh and his team are very friendly. I was made feel at home. The location is just right as it is very close to the temples. Thank you Shailesh for the interesting conversation we had had and sharing some insights about the city and the Center.

More of a hotel than hostel. Perfect for a peacful full yoga retreat, not so much if you are a backpacker looking for yoga AND friends. Yoga, mediation and massages are available to book. Short Tuk Tuk or cycle from the main temple cluster.

Beautiful place a bit out of the city which is amazing if you're looking for some peace and quiet. Biggest complaint is the staff... The prices for renting bikes or going places is always different depending on who you ask. I didn't feel very welcome but there are two guys here that are extremely helpful and friendly. Not really an ashram at all. Room prices are great but everything else is pricey so caution if your budget is quite small. Other than that really enjoyed the stay!

The place is nice and the people are super helpful. But to be honest the place is 2km away from the main temples, as far as location goes. As far as the facilities: I never had hot water and nearly didn't even have water to start with. Even though the staff tried to help they never could solve any of these problems.

Room was good size and nice price for private room. West Temples 15 mins walking if you're up for it. Staff didn't make themselves known which made ordering food difficult and wasn't very welcoming, as well as not giving us full orientation of place. We took a yoga class which was more of a taster, we were also told it was only 40 mins not an hour. They put every thing on a tab for our stay which we didn't like and tried to slap a load of VAT on the bill without any mention.

If you book a private you pay for the room, not per bed, so you end up paying the price of 2 beds instead of 1. Food was delicious. Not close to the Western group of temples but still not far. Staff wasn't rude but they were not friendly, just polite. Door seemed too easy to open so I always left my valuables inside a locked backpack. No atmosphere, more like a hotel. The room was very nice and the bed linen was clean.

Khajuraho itself is a small town and is more concentrated. The location of this budget hotel is not really nice. Without a bicycle you cannot really get anywhere. I rented a rusty old bicycle and paid ₹150 for it and got a backache. You can rent a bicycle for ₹100 from the person who lends it to the hotel. The room was very dingy with only one dim light and the toilet didn't flush. Next day I shifted to a hostel right next to the temples and felt much better. Bad experience at this place.
