I was just looking for a relaxed stay in Nagasaki and found it here. It's an unexpected gem, with friendly staff, great views and good atmosphere. Would recommend it to anyone.

I loved the design, and it was very clean! They don't have big lockers though, only small ones for things like your wallet. If you're not bothered by your stuff being out in the open, then this place was great! There's also an amazing bakery nearby. If you don't mind staying a bit outside downtown Nagasaki, then this place is perfect

Staying at Burabura is a wonderful getaway for the wearied traveller in Japan that wants to escape the hustle and bustle of Japanese cities. Located across the road from the sea in the sleepy fishing town of Mogi a 10km bus ride from Nagasaki, it's a great place to base yourself for a lazy couple of days, whilst still being within reach of Nagasaki. Kitchen facilities and a lot of common space, large dorms, and communal bathrooms. Helpful staff and a really nice map of the area provided.

    Very Good

The hotel is nice, Japanese style which is to my liking. Just that on my first night, there was someone entering my room (female dormitory) at midnight thus I couldn't sleep properly since I was alone at that day. On my second day, I got bitten by a centipede but luckily its not the dangerous type. They moved me to other room (which is private room where the room rate is about triple of what I have paid) so its ok.

The location is not the easiest to get to, otherwise the hostel is nice. The rooms are big and the view is really good.

Things i liked; the bath, the quiet- its about 20 minutes out of nagasaki city, the map they gi e for places to eat. Things i don't like; i locked my room when i went to nagasaki city, and came back to an unlovked room...with my valuables in it...and the door was held open with a door jam. Also, a lot of the staff struggles with english, so be prepared for a long conversation if you ha ve questions. Never staying here again though, considering private room, and still could have lost everything
