One of the best hostel experiences, amazing room looking out over the water, awesome facilities with massive onsen like bathroom. Easy to get to and nice restaurants close. Staff were incredible. One of the staff, Ryo saved us as we realised we needed to sort out vaccinations for an upcoming trip to peru. Ryo spent two hours with us calling around Kyoto, Osaka and Fukuoka to find us a place that would give us the vaccinations in time, absolutely couldn’t have done it without him.

This place was so good I seriously considered extending my stay. It's outside Nagasaki in a quiet, cute fishing village but with convenient bus service to Nagasaki. The rooms are gorgeous, tatami-covered, with clean picture windows overlooking the bay. You sleep on a futon, and if you want to wake up early, you can see the sunrise right from the room. Bath / showers are communal (Japanese bath-style), but because I came early, I had the entire space to myself for a whole hour.

Great hostel with very traditional Japanese vibes. You need a bus to get here. Delicious traditional Japanese breakfast cooked for you upon request (fish and rice), and very clean, cozy, traditional Japanese mats with amazing views overlooking the ocean. The bathroom was different to my liking. While toilets are private, the shower area was not. This was a different experience but I welcomed it.

Fantastic hostel! I had one of the big rooms to myself for 3 nights. Amazing view from all rooms. Things to improve: kitchen space; only one burner stove. Zero room for prepping food and it would seem like cooking would be popular here in this sleepy village. Overall great quiet stay!

This place is really charming, beautiful sea view from the bedrooms and waking up for the sunrise was amazing. Staff are friendly and helpful. A small downside is that it’s slightly dilapidated, could do with a clean and a lick of paint. They have proper toilets and the shower/bath facilities are good. The area of mogi is really lovely and quiet. I would recommend going their for a short break from the hustle and bustle of central Nagasaki. Overall I would say that you get what you pay for.

The location is absolutely beautiful and the town around it is equally so. Beware of the bugs though, as they crawl the hostel everywhere except for sleeping quarters at night. Even saw a small gecko on the walls a few times.

The location is not the easiest to get to, otherwise the hostel is nice. The rooms are big and the view is really good.

Things i liked; the bath, the quiet- its about 20 minutes out of nagasaki city, the map they gi e for places to eat. Things i don't like; i locked my room when i went to nagasaki city, and came back to an unlovked room...with my valuables in it...and the door was held open with a door jam. Also, a lot of the staff struggles with english, so be prepared for a long conversation if you ha ve questions. Never staying here again though, considering private room, and still could have lost everything

Very unclean. Mound all over hostel, peeling wallpaper. Floors dirty. No general cleanliness. Really good location. Fantastic views. Great bakery nearby. No restaurants open late.
