The location was not what we were expecting, you stay in an area with all the local people! But the owner Rajesh was absolutely wonderful! This was our first night in India and he could tell that we were a little uneasy and did everything he could to make us feel at home!

Interesting little place — very cheap and definitely not in a touristy neighbourhood. Everyone else was a long-term resident when I was there, so nothing of a backpacker atmosphere. Reasonably clean and quiet, walkable to the old parts of Pondi, and good value in a city without much accommodation choice.
