We really like this hostel, and always come back here when we're going to Barcelona. The people are very nice, the price and location are really good. If you're used to sharing flats of some sort, this is pretty much it :). Thanks guys, see you soon!

Excellent place, loved it! Ridiculous close to la Basilica de La Sagrada Familia which is very convenient. Also, two doors north you have a place called “La Taqueria” Selling amazingly tasty mexican food And beers... plus one of the owners, hector, have the most positive vibes to make you feel welcome. Make yourself a favor and visit their business! Overall, a great experience!

Biggest pro: the staff and people who stay there! Everyone was very (perhaps a bit too sometimes) laid back. I can tell you that I met a lot of potheads there :). A lot of the staff volunteer, so they all seemed very motivated and happy to be there. They also served free dinner. It felt like a fun party alltogether Biggest con: not as clean as most hostels. It was a chaotic as well (i.e. long lines for reception). Someone was also sleeping in my bed when I arrived, but we solved that

It was cheap, got what we paid for. Amazing location&very affordable. Cash only. It took us 45 minutes to check in despite an employee being at the desk and only one person in front of us. The entire floor shares ONE bathroom (one shower, one toilet). The room is literally just a hard mattress with a sheet, no blanket at all. While here the power went out all night and until well past noon and the staff did nothing. The hallway was disgusting. I would only book this again if it was a last resort

Terrible reception service, badly, bathroom was dirty, and the water would not come down when taking a shower, if you have bags be prepared to climb many stairs to your room. Only good thing was the location.

Unfortunately when we checked in at 9pm our room Had not been cleaned, so we had to inform staff. There’s was only one toilet and shower for our floor, we had to share with with 8 other people. This made getting ready in the morning a nightmare. On one day I had to wait an hour to use the shower. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this hostel.

No limit when it comes to make money, even if your health is at risk.. I had the worst experience in this hostel. Do not ever stay here. I had a medical emergency and they were nothing than evil. Worst hostel in Barcelona with no doubt. They simply don’t care about their customers and their well being. If you wanna stay in a nice, cheap hostel and most importantly in a place where they care about their customers, stay in Sant Jordi Hostel.
