A great place! The cubby-bunks were tidy, bathrooms spotless, the kitchen was impressive, the complimentary breakfast was just what I needed in the morning and the location was super convenient! Free wifi and a really nice common area - with a coffee shop/ice-cream bar inside, in case your internet browsing needs some extra fuel. An impressive collection of Hokkaido-centric maps and pamphlets, and some great information on local attractions and transit.

Nice Hostel, facility and staff. Location is rather far away from Noboribetsu Onsen, even though regular Buses depart a minute away from the Hostel.

The place was clean and the free breakfast was good. However, there are no lockers or locks on the door to the room. The floors are really creaky and loud, and the beds are hard as a rock. The location is good though, right next to the station.

This was where we stayed when visiting Hell Valley (Jigokudani). The included breakfast was better than other places we've stayed in Japan and it was nice that you could buy local craft beer there too. It costs 340¥ for a bus ride from there up to Noboribetsu Onsen where Hell Valley is. The hostel was nice but a little expensive as far as hostels go but was the least expensive option that we found for the area.

Very nice hostel, clean with a good kitchen facility. Not much to do in the immediate local area- only 2 restaurants so it was useful to be able to cook food. Very close to norberibetsu train station and easy access to local sightseeing. Friendly staff. No lockers to keep valuables or baggage and no lock on the dorm room door. The dorm was also very very cold at night because of the air conditioning. Door locked at 11pm and no other access so unable to leave/enter the hostel after 11pm.

    Very Good

Great location if travelling by train, but as we were by car, proximity to station did not matter. Great concept and good value in pricey area, but expensive as far as hostels go. Staff were sweet and kind - could have been more outgoing to make the atmosphere in the hostel more convivial to chatting. Was all quite anonymous for a hostel.

The hostel is super clean, cute, and staff extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The top bunks have a gap before the ceiling that allowed me to listen to my neighbour like they were right beside me all night. There is no individual space to put your bags. The floors are as to be expected in an old Japanese establishment (which means wood, and loud. I could hear everyone walking from the bathroom back to the dorm). The breakfast was awesome. The ice-cream was delicious!
