This was my first time staying in a Hostel and I had a lovely time at Nola Jazz Hostel! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The place is really well located, on Canal Street just across from the street cars. I felt very safe and slept pretty well. It wasn't too noisy. The place is really chilled. In the morning I'd sit out on the outdoor patio, while having some delicious pancakes & a nice cup of coffee. I met some great people - I definitely recommend staying here !

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The location was good. Just outside the tram station that brings you out in town. We went for Mardi Gras and we got to see the parade right out in front of the hostel which was amazing. Overall it was a great experience. I would totally recommend staying there.

Great location and nice staff. They just need to invest a few dollars and it would be good. The bathroom upstairs is pretty gross-busted toilet seat-shower curtain so rusty the curtain can’t slide and it doesn’t reach the tub so water gets on the floor. Add a shelf so people can put their belongs down. Put some hooks in the rooms so people can hang their belongs. Buy some new towels.

This place is not horrible for a nomadic man. But it's just pretty gross. I do my fair share of camping and stayed in hostels before, but this place reminded me of a halfway home. Smells like mouth/body in the room most of the time. I won't say unlivable, but it was just gross.

Weird place. I got there at 11pm. Strange skinny stairwell went upstairs, sign on bathroom door said not working but no other bathroom available... But really only the shower was not working. No understanding or ability of how to get to the main floor... Strange place
