Pretty nice hostel. Was worth the value you paid for, pretty awesome how you get a free breakfast and a free dinner meal even though I didn’t have any of it but definitely would go back again :)

My partner and I spent the New Year's holiday in a private room at Nomads. It was a cut above the Ibis airport kind of stay because the room was largish and personable, with a dresser, bedside tables and reading lights. The double bed with loft single was great for an afternoon nap whilst my partner tinkered 'downstairs' with his camera. The common areas were charismatic, albeit busy over the holiday. The location was ideal for accessing the city with lots of nearby shops and cafes.

Central location. Great for City Centre. Lobby open 24/7. Card access to rooms and lounge/Kitchen. Free evening pasta meal if in before 6.30pm at Hostel's own bar. Nearby bus link to Wellington Airport. Central station a short walk through town with Interislander shuttle bus from there to terminal. First time visitors must visit Te Papa the free national museum. Sport generally at Westpac Stadium although Basin Reserve hosts Test Cricket. For a view over town climb Mount Victoria.

Staff were great and helpful. Rooms were pretty dated with little plugs, no individual lights per beds and lack of free wifi in the hostel apart from common areas downstairs is frustrating.

Had a good stay. Can't comment on the atmosphere as I stayed off the back of a trip with G Adventures and already knew a few people around. Rooms are comfortable and bathrooms clean. Kitchen was decent and had plenty of cookwear. One problem with the shower - water drained super slow and seemed the same in other rooms. Free wifi only works in reception area which is a pain but is decent there. Good location in Wellington within walking distance to train station and all attractions.

    Very Good

The free WiFi doesn't work at all.. I can't believe that it's 2019 and you have to pay for the WiFi in a hostel.. the beds are really noisy for any movement you make, although very comfortable. Breakfast could be improved.. it's only cereal, milk and coffee. The common area is really good, although there are many long-term residents who already know each other, so it's not easy to meet people or integrate.

Good location, clean rooms, comfy bed. The staff were a little slow at completing basic hostel tasks -although they eventually were able to meet the request. Alright for a couple of nights stay.

Good location and very friendly staff! However, the rooms do not include such things as bedside reading lamps or a fan that works. Staying in a dorm will therefore include being woken up all throughout the night due to a ceiling lamp blearing in your face or not getting enough oxygen in an overheated room. The toilets and showers were unfortunately incredibly unclean. Skid marks in the toilets for days, hair in the sinks and missing soap, even after they had been cleaned, which is strange...
