I loved this hostel, was a bit of a walk up the hill from Petra - but absolutely worth it, the staff did everything they could for us and we couldn’t have asked for more. They were able to help organise a bus for us back to the Wadi Araba/ Israel border Crossing. This was just before the pandemic and there was a lot of uncertainty at the time about crossing back to Israel that day - can’t thank the staff enough for just being genuinely nice people in a stressful time. Rooms were lovely

Nice little hostel, at the top of a hill about 5 mins walk from Petra. There's a restaurant within the hostel where you can get breakfast, dinner or order a packed lunch for the next day: all for a fair price. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dorm rooms are secure with air conditioning and lockers, and each bed has a light, plug socket, shelf and curtain. There's a white board down stairs which is useful to arrange trips and shared taxis to the various sights around Jordan.

Only the second 10 review I have given after ~40 hostels. The location is at the top of a hill, but still very close to Petra main entrance. 2 minute taxi or 10-15 min walk. Met lots of backpackers here in the lobby and climbed to the Monastery with others (as a solo backpacker). Staff were great, sourced wine for us and restaurants. Lovely rooftop with the option of Shisha. Key card security and small lockers. Warm shower. Kitchen. Table footballs. Clean. Curtain beds.

I stayed like in 7 hostels in my short trip of 2 weeks and this was the best, the staff is amazing, all of them, the feed me, they talk to me, they teach you about everything without you knowing haha, spend wonderful nights here. About the building is big, i can understand in summer must be full, has two kitchens and the staff and guests was the best for me. Thanks so much guys for everything. I definitely recomend it and i will come back. (Just short coment, check the showers please)

Great place to stay in Petra and a damn good value, especially considering the price gouging you'll deal with elsewhere in the city. Nomads is an easy 10 to- 15-minute walk to the ancient city, although the hotel sits at the top of a steep hill so the walk back will be a little challenging, especially if you've been hiking the ruins all day. Of course, there are no shortages of taxis if you don't feel like making another summit. They also have a fantastic second location in Amman.

Private rooms are great, shared dorms are a bit tough because people are often getting up and getting ready very early in the morning to be in Petra at 6. The staff were very helpful and made it easy to extend our stay by a day as well as switch rooms. The guest kitchen is a bit drab and could use some more love, but still totally functional. Price is fair for what it is. Definitely recommend!

The common area of hostel is good and the hostel has parking space. Rooms and washrooms are clean with hot water. Just take you car to visitor centre as walk uphill is a pain point.
