Nomads has the cutest hostel dog ever! He’s so small and makes my day. I loved coming downstairs to play with remi. All the staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. They give me really good tips on things to see when in was in Melbourne for a few nights.

Nice to have some actual privacy with the curtains on the beds. Great location. Nice staff, but I told them on our 1st night that the shower leaked constantly so to stop the sound of dripping the shower actually had to be switched on, not great for an 'eco conscious' hostel; by the 5th night it still wasn't fixed. The whole place stinks of weed, even dorms, and people constantly talking about the best person to get an ounce off. This didn't bother us but is definitely worth knowing.

Not a bad hostel, the beds were cool as they had curtains, lights and chargers. Generally quite clean, only recommendation is that the toilets and showers need some improvements

I like this hostel and st kilda is a cool place. Curtains and power points at each bed is so good. Clean hostel but gives off old school vibes lol. Kitchen is tiny though barely could cook in there which is a shame. Rest of the facilities can’t be faulted though

Staff were friendly and inviting but so overrun. The place is nice but not the best for someone who is travelling. I found most people use the hostel to settle for a while and people have therefore formed groups and it was very hard to socialise and fit in

This hostel is pretty gross in the sense that they 100% do not change the sheets as when I checked in there was sand in my bed and I had to change them myself and there’s a rat... also nearly impossible to find showers with hot water. But the curtains really are nice and uncommon in Oz.

Hostel has a luggage room where people can put bicycles inside. Some nice rooms for TV, games etc. However, whole hostel reeks weed. People put their dirty clothes+stuff everywhere in the dorms. Bins overflowing. People smoke in rooms and spray deodorant on top of it so not quality air to breathe. The kitchen is too small with just a couple sinks and not much space to chop or prepare food. 90-95% of guests and staff are 18-25. For info check-in only from 2pm- Unclear from online description

Good: Staff is friendly and really helpful. Really appreciate them. Most things you need are in The Hostel and close to team when you want to head to central Melbourne. Beds ok. Not so good: Too kant guests, and other People in Hostel. Did not feel safe, staff don't have any chance knowing who lives there and who just comes in. Ammount of guests give really dirty bathrooms (minutes after cleaning), poor condition of kitchenware (no forks, barley any mugs/glasses. No color, a bit sad interior.

Good location, nice staff but living with mice and cockroaches in the room was disgusting. Mouse droppings in my belongings and kept me up all night because I could here them running about the room and going through my stuff. Manager was nice enough to refund me but I would not stay there again! Cleaning team need to do more regular visits to the toilets, many times I would walk in to toilet paper and wet towels on the floor and no soap.
