Property Description

Sleep cheap in Cardiff, the Welsh capital
Want to experience the beating heart of Cardiff yet seek a calm, clean and comfortable environment?

NosDa has the best location for a property in the Welsh capital. On the River Taff, NosDa is opposite Wales’ most iconic building, the Millennium Stadium (Cardiff Castle and Cardiff Central Station are just a stone's throw away).

NosDa means 'good night' in Welsh and that is exactly what we are promising. We are the only property on the River Taff with a licensed bar and not only that, NosDa is an established live music venue too. What better place to stay than a typically Welsh property with local bands, Welsh food & drinks, and local artists bringing you closer to the Welsh culture. We regularly organise Open Mic nights & Live Music Events in our main Bar, and all Wales Rugby & Football International games are featured on our big screen. On a match day you can hear the crowd going wild at the Millennium Stadium, that's how close we are!

Even though NosDa is one of the largest properties in Cardiff, it is proud to have the reputation of being friendly and personal with well-travelled international and local staff on hand 24/7.
We have a great communal kitchen and plenty of common space to chill out, watch TV, read a book or catch up on emails. Meet your fellow travellers whilst tasting some of our local ales and ciders!

The NosDa is without doubt my favourite budget hotel/hostel I have ever stayed in. Having stayed there multiple times, I can attest that the staff are consistently brilliant! (especially Sophie,Nick and Brad). The atmosphere is consistently great. There are decent events on in the evenings, a bar, pool table etc (it is never a boring place to be). It is in a great location. I loved the room. There is car parking on site for £5/day. It is great value for money. What more could you want? NosDa

Best hostel I have ever stayed at! The perfect spot to stay in if you're visiting Cardiff. Close to the stadium, castle, gift shops, restaurants, cinema and grocery stores. Hostel has a bar and big lounge so the atmosphere was bumping (specially because of the rugby game). Staff were absolutely amazing, friendly and welcoming. My room was comfortable and clean as were the bathrooms across the hall. Included breakfast was delicious. Please stay here on your next visit to Cardiff!!! Thanks NosDa!

Great hostel! The staff was more than friendly, and it was in a great location to get to the city and Bute Park. Decent atmosphere (probably would have been better if I wasn't staying on Sunday/Monday nights). Would definitely stay again if I was ever back in Cardiff!

The hostel is only a 5-minute walk from the train station and around 10 minutes from Cardiff Castle. The staff members were very nice. I had a solo room that was a little difficult to find with only "wet paint" signs around a little direction. Unfortunately, the hostel was quite loud at night as there was an Open Mic and apparently the windows downstairs were open. There were also a lot of dead bugs on the curtains and a few in the shower. All in all, it has good value and a nice location.

staff friendly, great security & if out late someone will be around reception to let you in (need to press doorbell, down side is that if trying to sleep you can hear this), bar is open to the public so weekends can get noisey, there is an open mic night on Wednesdays which you can watch or take part, beds relatively comfortable (not the best and squeak when moving), bathrooms smelt horrid and floorboards squeak so can hear others in corridors, kitchen facilities available, close to main sites

great hostel, very quiet while i was there and there were only three people in my eight bed dorm. nice location, near the canal but not near any bus routes and it’s about a 10 minute walk from the station, which is fine but not when you have heavy luggage

Not the best hostel I've stayed at. Facilities are all old and feel gross and it's impossible to sleep if there is a gig on downstairs.

People taking phone calls in the rooms at 3am, coming in late and chatting all night . En suite toilets that didn't stop running so water going all night. Beds that are so light they almost fell over as I climbed the ladders. Pillows that might as well not exist. Showers were nice though
