Staying at OMOKI was the best decision for my family vacation. being from Colombia I can certainly recommend you to stay in Omoki. Its the perfect way to get to know the country. In the middle of the forest, with the sounds of the river and the animals, the view of the stars; is just the right place to relax and enjoy the time with your love ones while learning about sustainability. Facilities were great, Freddy and Amelie excellent hosts and home made breakfast delicious.

Loved this hostel! Has great views, and the coffee tour that they organize is so informative and really worth it. Breakfasts were very delicious with fresh local ingredients, including fruits that were picked on the farm right before you eat them! The staff are so kind and helpful, it’s obvious that they care a lot about your comfort.

If you’re reading this, I’d look no further and book this hostel if you’re going to Salento. Why? Because you get to wake up in the middle of the coffee fields, absolutely beautiful! Amelie and Freddy are two passionate hosts who care about their surroundings and its community. The best part? Book the coffee tour at the nearby farmer, best coffee in the world and the farmer is super friendly and passionate about his work. Breakfast was great as well!

An amazing stay. One of our favourite hostels we’ve stayed in. Such beautiful surroundings and the Freddie and Amelie were such friendly and helpful hosts. The coffee tour is unreal- can not recommend you doing it enough. The rooms are also super clean and really unique. I actually preferred being out of Salento in the end- just felt different and a bit more special. The walk isn’t too bad and the jeeps are great fun anyway. Breakfast is great and the kitchen was perfectly fine to use.

Amazing natural beauty and a homie feel. Animal lovers paradise! My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to stay at Omoki during our trip to Colombia. The owners were so nice and accommodating, they even arranged a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport on our last day. The farm was absolutely beautiful and we loved spending time with all of the animals. We definitely recommend staying here, and definitely plan on returning on our next trip

Really nice place if you love the nature without internet (close by you can find free wifi if really needed) Also they support the locals and not the people who came here for the tourism. And they can organize you a private coffee tour with a local farmer (not just 2 hours.... it's the whole day including lunch).

We had the loveliest most cleansing and relaxing few days at Omoki. Amelie and Freddy were so welcoming and friendly, and we fell in love with their adorable dogs! The house is so peaceful and the rooms are really beautifully decorated. It was a privilege to spend a day with Jaime on his coffee farm just next door too. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Showers are horrible, like standing under a drip of water and electricity was out in bathroom for a day. Kitchen was okay though the fridge doesn’t even work. Beds are not comfortable and a window was broken in the room so got eaten by mosquitoes. Super far from Salento and if you want to go in or back from town after 5 plan on a 1.5 hour walk. No reception and super confusing when you arrive as no way to check in, owners come down very rarely mostly to offer tours for sale.

Probably by far the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. Upon arriving, no staff was there to check us in. We were supposed to stay for four nights but the facilities were so poor we decided to leave early. Again, no one was there to check us out so we just left money by the bed for the two nights we stayed. The hostel is very far from town, which normally wouldn't be a problem but public transportation in Salento is not the greatest, making it inconvenient and unenjoyable.
