Great little hostel right in the center of Madrid. Aniz and Natalia were amazing hosts, friendly and informative. The premises were quite clean, there were very big lockers in the rooms and keys are provided by the hostel, the dorms are not very spacious but comfortable nevertheless, with AC, light and curtains. There is a small bar in the common room, so you can meet other travelers. There is an elevator if you have big luggage. I loved my stay at Open Hostel and recommend it!

Everything was very good but the vibe was kind of weird. Nobody really talked or hung out in the common room. I also had issues finding the hostel because it's on the 6th floor of the building it's in and no where in the description said that as far as I could tell. Other than that though it was really great, very clean, attentive staff, and no major problems.

Amazing friendly and helpful staff!! Great security as well (lockers with a lock included!). The 4-bed rooms are small, but each bed has its own curtain, light and plug. Feels very private! Chill out area is cute and they have cold beer readily available. Avoid the breakfast though. Not worth paying the 3 Euro. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very good hostel. Very central location, friendly staff and good facilities. But some fines (50 euro for lost key, 100 euro for late check out, 300 euro for any visitors) are strange and too high.

Great except too many strict rules that made it feel unwelcoming.

This hostel was very calm, quiet, and relaxed. The terrace was gorgeous and gave us a nice area to relax. Very low-key. The staff was very kind and helpful and the views are wonderful!

It is a small hostel with a great location and staff. I was really happy to stay there at the beginning. However, I have found a bug inside the kitchen cabinet. Then, I went to sleep and woke up after 1 hour because of a bug in my bed. After that, it was not possible to sleep at all. I was lucky that it was my last night; otherwise, I might have had to find another hostel.

If you want to sleep I wouldnt stay here. Staff was always stomping around and slamming doors, I even had to write a note that said Please Dont Slam the Doors , which obviously no one paid attention too. Quiet hours say 11pm but girls were yelling til 1am and no one said anything about it. Super tiny rooms and paper thin walls, the only good thing is the central location and rooftop terrace
