Location

We’re right in the centre of Porto, so there are loads of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Hostel owners Nuno and Filipe are always happy to recommend secret local spots for you. Porto Cathedral, the famous tower of Clérigos Church and the incredible art nouveau bookshop of Livraria Lello are all within 15 minutes on foot. To get here from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, take the metro to Trindade station and walk to us in about 5 minutes. The whole journey takes around 50 minutes.

Rooms and Dorms

Our shared and female-only dorms have comfy beds and great views through the large windows of the bustling streets below. Linen is included with all bookings and you'll get towels too if you go for a private room. All of our accommodation is clean, modern and spacious, with plenty of room for your backpack.

Extras and activities

We’ve got a friendly 24-hour reception team ready to help you explore the city and we like to join the fun with free walking tours and pub crawls to get you started. You can pick up a free city map on your way out (it'll help save on data) and we’ll set you up with bike hire if you want to head out on two wheels. We’ve got handy safety deposit boxes for you to use if you'd rather leave valuables with us while you roam.

Great hostel! Breakfast was good and plentiful. Other guests were friendly, but quiet and respectful. The hostel is in an excellent location, so I walked almost everywhere. Staff was welcoming and even helped me figure out how to take public transit to get to the airport and the beach. I will definitely be staying here again if I get the chance to come back to Porto!

This hostel has one of the best locations in Porto! You can walk to pretty much all the major sites in minutes, and it’s close to the night life. Staff were also amazing, especially Arthur who if you’re lucky you can hear singing from the lobby. This is not the best spot for solo travellers though as the hostel does not do any nightly programming so it’s hard to meet people. Good if you’re with friends/couple.

The hostel staff was extremely helpful in regards to giving suggestions for places to eat, sights to see etc. The rooms/facilities were kept very clean, and it was a nice touch to receive free breakfast; however, it is the bare minimum, just bread, jams, cereal, coffee/tea/juice. The overall hostel atmosphere is not very lively, and the common areas were rarely used during my stay, therefore not ideal for meeting others if you’re solo travelling. Overall, good experience, would recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in one of the private rooms. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location is away from the touristy area but still walking distance to everything. The only knock on this hostel is how loud the neighbourhood gets at night because of neighbouring hostels and bars. A nice touch to help with this was the free ear plugs they gave us.

Good : location , the 12 bed dorm is big , bed and pillow are pretty good nice kitchen , free breakfast Bad : lockers are narrow ( lots of bag wont fit in ) and lockers are really noisy also there is a lot of noise in the dorm from the bars on the street . So If you have ear plugs in the 12 bed dorm to fix the noise issue that hostel is pretty good : )

    Very Good

Overall a decent experience at this hostel. Something that needs improvement is the lockers in the rooms. They were absolutely miniature and you can only fit a tiny bag in them. It was nice having the toilet and shower attached to the room. The kitchen view is great and it is well equipped. And although they do have the option to leave your luggage for the day, keep in mind that they mean you can leave it in the lobby. There's no attempt made at keeping your bags safe. Too expensive.
