That is the Hostel is located in a completely restored 150 year old building, combining Oporto's character with the utmost comfort and security in a modern and relaxed environment where you can meet people from around the world, party or just come for a weekend getaway.

'Our purpose is not only to make you feel welcomed as a tourist, but mostly help you discover the city as if you were a local and show you the way to Oporto's best hidden bars and restaurants.'

Oporto Invictus Hostel in itself is a unique piece of art. Take a look at our mural graffiti walls depicting the city's streets. Also in each room there are mural paintings referring to some of the city's tourist attractions. We try to be as environmentally friendly as possible. This is why our Hostel is fueled by Solar Energy and we .

Why 'Invictus'?
As it is written on the city's coat of arms 'noble, loyal and undefeated', Oporto is the perfect place to visit.
It is easy to understand why this medieval city, aged by the centuries, proud to exhibit the colorful contrast between traditional and modern, is the Nº1 destination for mobility students: you can easily hop from a glass of port on the riverside to surfing or simply relaxing in one of the city's parks. You will also take advantage of our free guided tour in Porto historical downtown center

Had a lovely stay here, staff were all really friendly, cosy communal area, kitchen that you could use when you wanted until midnight, breakfast included, and spacious dorm room... This is only the second time I’ve stayed in a hostel, and having had a bad experience elsewhere in the past I was apprehensive, but I loved it here, would stay here again, plus it’s changed my view on staying in hostels too ☺️

Second time I stay at Oporto Invictus. One of the best hostels ever in one of the best cities ever! Excellent breakfast (I would love to have more options of fruits), clean bathrooms and toilets, great kitchen, comfy lounge. And the staff will tell you all about the city so you can enjoy it at its best.

This hostel was so cozy and exactly what I needed! The staff was welcoming and friendly and gave great suggestions for food and other questions we had. They have a great "living room" with a tv, games and books. The kitchen was nice & open and the breakfast was above par for being free compared to other hostels I've experienced. I really liked that the place felt smaller and more homey as it felt much cleaner & all around more comfortable!

Absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed 3 nights. The staff were friendly and super helpful. Have really great recommendations of what to see in Porto as I arrived with no plans. Everything was comfortable and had great facilities. Toilet is a bit small but not too big an issue!

    Fabulous

We stayed in a double room with private toilet. Everything was tidy and clean. The kitchen and the breakfast were very basic. In sum, everything was good but one very important thing. In the evening it was extremely difficult to sleep (even with earplugs) because the noise around was ridiculously loud. It was a sunday and there was very loud music and tons of people screaming until very late in the night. We could also hear perfectly well people running up and down the stairs.

My room was right on top of a nightclub. Impossible to sleep until 4am. Staff was unfriendly. Do not stay at this hostel.
