They’re friendly and awesome! They will work with you if something is not right. For example my backpack couldn’t fit in their locker, so they helped me store it instead. Heads up: Breakfast gets busy around 9am. There will be a queue during waffle or toaster use.

The diversity of people who stayed there during my stay was pretty awesome to see. This was my first time at a hostel, so my expectations of having a random, respectable bunk-mate was low, but I had a good experience this stay. Had quality conversations with my bunkmates and felt comfortable after the first night. The location of the hostel was nice, you're in the middle of SF very close to Union Square with lots to do. The security isn't too top notch--almost anyone could just come in and go up

The room was very clean and there was plenty of food for breakfast. There was some noise during the evening from other rooms, and there are a lot of homeless people just outside the hostel.

    Very Good

Not really a social vibe here, seemed like lots of students were staying here (but not the fun party kind). Breakfast was good- bagels, juice, toast, a waffle maker etc. Got super crowded in the small kitchen area so there were lines for everything. Beds were comfy but SUPER loud.

This's my 1st time stay at the Hostel. One thing that I'd like to mention specifically is that I found red rashes of 5 to 7 on my right front arm in the morning after the 1st night. I immediately thought that this might be the bedbug bites! I googled online and I did find the bedbug related info linked to this property in the past. So I reported to Staff. They investigated but not concluded being the bedbugs. They provided cost for my clothing cleanup and changed my room which was good.
