Great location. Too many homeless outside but not the hostels fault. Wish the sinks were better in the bathrooms.

    Very Good

Overall, this was a good stay. You’re technically downtown and not far from restaurants and or attractions. It is next to the “tenderloin” which is considered an area where homeless are payed to stay homeless which I thought that was crazy. As you exit the “hostel” to the left you see the ghetto, homeless doing drugs in plain daylight. But as you exit the hostel and walk to the right, it’sa different view and once you hit market street, you can get transportation there to anywhere you need to go

No information whatsoever about any of the topic that you might want to have or where you might want to go. It's good to have locals working there but they lose their perspective after a while.

The hostel itself was great, but the location was not good. The Tenderloin is a sketchy neighborhood with many scary people on the streets, not a place you feel comfortable strolling around, and definitely doesn't have the nice unique vibe of other places in SF. All the drivers of taxis I took warned me that I should be careful around there.
