They’re friendly and awesome! They will work with you if something is not right. For example my backpack couldn’t fit in their locker, so they helped me store it instead. Heads up: Breakfast gets busy around 9am. There will be a queue during waffle or toaster use.

    Fabulous

I loved staying here. My gf and I needed a private room but hotels were too expensive. This was perfect. Just enough space and the bed was very comfortable. We had an inward facing room so street noise was not an issue. The free breakfast included waffles, bagels, toast, cereals, milk, mango juice, coffee, bananas, peanut butter, and nutella. It saved us time and money in the mornings. The location was walkable to many places. Would stay here again for sure.

    Fabulous

Definitely a bit of a dodgy area, but honestly so much of San Francisco has homeless people so it is not like you aren't going to get them anywhere else. Just be aware of them and your belongings. The hostel was amazing in regards to the breakfast, kitchen and it also put on a free pizza night which was awesome. It has a light and electrical output next to each bed which is good. Be aware that these are some of the noisest bunk beds I have ever come across and they move a lot when you move

    Fabulous

The room was very clean and there was plenty of food for breakfast. There was some noise during the evening from other rooms, and there are a lot of homeless people just outside the hostel.

    Very Good

It's not great. But in SF this is what you get for about 50$. Stayed in two different 4-bed rooms. Room 1 wasn't really clean. It was very dusty under my bed. The bathrooms in the rooms are TINY. Like, there is barely place to stay once you left the shower. The breakfast is a nice addition. There is tea, coffee, toast with Nutella and peanut butter. There are also bananas and fresh waffles available. The staff was super friendly though!

    Good

I'm going to be honest, this place is in a rough area, so if safety is your concern I would not book here. I had no problem with the location myself. My biggest gripe was with the leakage of the WC's ceiling. No one wants to use the WC at 03:00 in the morning and have an unknown, possibly toxic substance fall onto your skin, clothing and hair. Staff was pleasant. Also, this hostel is near a Mexican Taqueria called "El Sol." This place has the best burritos in San Francisco, totally recommend.

We saw a cockroach in our room. It's downtown SF, but still gross. We had a private room, but still heard morning alarms going off from other rooms. I guess the walls are quite thin. The price was quite high for what we got. We will probably not stay here again.

The two major issues I had with this hostile was that the restrooms and the water pressure of the showers it was so hard to take a shower there because the water pressure was so low and secondly there was roach infestation in our room and which was horrible it would be nice that if the hostel could provide fans because there are some days where it does get hot overall the price of a hassle was not bad compared to hotels around the area but I did check out Two days early due to the fact of bugs
