People be coming and going at all hours of the night, but I guess that is to be expected as it only a short walk to the Osaka night life. The place was clean and had a solid couple of communal areas if for some reason you want to stay in. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Great location for the money. Could definitely use a bench to put shoes on though when switching from slippers- it is kind of annoying for those of us without slip-on shoes.

    Fabulous

Great cheap hostel - good amenities for cooking although the kitchen was on the 2nd floor and dining room on the ground level so you had to carry ya dinner down. Staff were friendly and helpful and on Sunday night they had a free takoyaki cooking night which was real fun and the takoyaki tasted better than from the street stall.

Our stay at Koma was lovely! Check in was easy and we were given a tour of the whole facility including kitchen, showers, toilets, laundry etc. every time we were in the common room one of the staff would chat to us and help us get to where we needed to be. The beds were comfortable and there is heaps of space around to keep your toiletries by the sink, your day bag locked up and a little safe with code provided to keep your valuables in. Good location with a great horumon yakiniku nearby!

A good, basic hostel. It's not flashy, but it's homely. The dorm rooms, beds, kitchen and common space are decent. There's free instant ramen, plus tea and coffee. I checked in early. It's walking distance from Dotonburi. The staff are nice and friendly. The common space is nice to chill. The showers and toilets are fine. Only two showers though so may have to wait. They have lockers, but not really room to store big bags in the dorms, so have to leave outside the room.

    Very Good

The vibe at the hostel was great! A great experience overall, but my futon/bed was very flat in the centre so did make sleeping a little uncomfortable. Otherwise it was a really good place to stay if you want to see the dotombori canal, Shinsaibashi and amerika-mura, and super easy to access by subway (sakuragawa station)

It's just not thought as a Hostel. It seems like they're trying to improve a little by little by adding stuff, but still far from having good facilities, specially considering the Japanese standards.. lack of vive, good staff tho, and not bass location, but rooms, bathrooms and showers can be very improved
