General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
The booking deposit is non-refundable.
Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card ???? Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Holiday with Friends, Junior / Primary School, High / Secondary School, College / University, Business Trip, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party, Sports Group, Cultural Group If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Ostello bello is the best place to stay in Myanmar. I recommend booking the pool hostel over the other ostello bello. I met a lot of friends through the free ebike tour. They were all staying at the other hostel but had to pay to use the pool. Being shoulder season there were not a lot of people at the pool hostel but this did not impact my stay. In the evenings you can have a drink at the bar. Rooms were clean and you can pay to check in early if you want straight into a bed after a night bus.

Just down the street from the original Ostello Bello, which has more of a social atmosphere at night. Pool is great for relaxing if you are tired of the temples. Staff really friendly and helpful. Great chain of hostels!

Great hostel, a bit quiet but I often when to the sister property for some drinks and atmosphere. With the heat in Bagan the pool is definitely enjoyable. I would highly recommend the free e-bike tour and the sunset yoga class.

Great hostel with clean rooms and a nice pool. Breaky is good too. The hostel was a little quiet at night but you can go to the Ostello Bello Bagan sister hostel down the road and that is lively enough! Great free bike tour offered. Laundry service & bike hire available at the front of the hostel The one flaw we did have is our toilet didn’t flush on the last night.

Stayed here for the pool. The other Bagan location has better social vibes in the evenings but if you stay there you have to pay to use the pool here. The other location is a 4 min walk away. The pool did get pretty social in the afternoons. Good location for food and temples. You can rent an E-scooter right out front each day, even early morning for balloons. Rooms and breakfast were nice.

Very good location to explore the temples of Bagan. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever we needed informations. Not really a party hostel: very quiet and not so many things going on besides chilling at the pool and chatting with other guests. If you want more fun, you can always walk to the other Ostello Bello Hostel that is 2 minutes way!

Wifi system isn't great. Everytime you leave or the power cuts you have to get a new pass code to connect. Communal areas are all outdoors, so we were not able to relax without getting too hot or worrying about mosquitoes. It would make a great difference to have somewhere inside with aircon as Bagan gets so hot. Also if you get off an overnight bus the area to rest is on bean bags with open windows. Dorm rooms and bathrooms were nice with great aircon.

It's a great hostel with cool people. Just please add curtains to all beds for privacy and this will be a great hostel. Also if you had the roof top like Inle lake counterpart that would be even better.
