You have to be aware that the the hostel is really far from the city center and even with public transportation, bus, you still have a 20 minute walk, which is not very pleasant in the winter.

Standard rooms were basic but fine. Shuttle bus onto the island was pretty good value at €5 return but having to book a return time was annoying - but considering how busy the busses got I do understand this.

The room was quite comfortable although the water wasn’t working in the en-suite the first morning. The shower rail fell off when the water was back on. The shower block which was freezing cold as all the windows and doors were left open early in the morning. There’s supposed to be a cheap breakfast for €3 but I ended up paying over €5 for a brioche and luke warm coffee. A security guard asked me if I could exchange my euros for pounds because I’m British, which I found very unprofessional. RFI

Our stay at the site was comfortable, however I felt the staff were quite abrupt and felt they couldn’t be bothered to help us wih our queries. The location was quite far out although there are shuttle buses running often. The cabins were fairly clean however after showers it gets extremely moist and sticky and takes hours to dry.

Not a good place for solo backpackers. Nice for groups or families. A bit far from everything.

I stayed here for a night in transit to Rome. Not a hostel, definitely a camping ground with cabins and as it's large there isn't a social side of things. Laundry room looked really good. My cabin was the bare minimum, the bathroom door was put on crooked with one hinge broken so it didn't close at all, I was in a shared room so anyone could walk in the door and see straight in. You get what you pay for. Wouldn't stay again.

They didn't have lockers in rooms, which was really unsafe. It also was really far from Venice island, you have to take a bus more expensive than regular. They increased prices in new year's eve for buses. NO KITCHEN, why??

Venice was by far my favorite city in Italy and would not recommend booking a place at PLUS Camping Jolly. They have awful service and are placed in a bad location from all of the beauty in Venice. Things did not feel safe and had to take my valuables with me when I headed to the island. Also there as not kitchen which was a bummer as making food yourself was nice on some days when you are tired of all of the pasta and pizza. Overall was not worth the money (add +5euros/person/day for shuttle).

The rooms were freezing cold , It is definitely not recommended to be here in colder months. There was no breakfast buffet, only a cappuccino, a juice and a croissant. If you had booked the buffet you could get another croissant. At night there was a guy lurking around flashing with lights into a room and looking very suspicious. Not sure if thief or not. Staff was friendly though
