Property Description

Welcome to PLUS Camping Roma. We provide better value for money and facilities than any other hostel in Rome.
Camping Village Roma is the closest campsite to Rome's historic centre and offers all types of accommodation to suit every budget, from shared house tents to private/shared cabins (twins and triples-quads and fives) with ensuite bathrooms – some even come with a fully equipped kitchenette.

Our spacious two-bed tents include bed linen but not towels. Bathrooms are located outside the tent and were recently totally renovated.

The twin private rooms are modern, ensuite cabins which can comfortably sleep two people. They feature their own shower and toilet, storage, bedding, towels, heading, air conditioning and electrical outlets.

The four-bed and five-bed private rooms are spacious mobile homes, each with two rooms (one with twin beds and a bunk bed and one with a double bed) as well as a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, air conditioning and heating, a fridge, bed linen, towels, storage and electrical outlets. It's a perfect accommodation to stay with your friends!

If you prefer shared accommodation, the mixed ensuite dorms are modern cabins that sleep up to three people and have their own shower, toilet, storage, bedding, towels, heating, air conditioning and electrical outlets.

The three-bed shared mixed tents are spacious house-tents with three beds; one is a bunk bed with a sliding door that you can lock with a key. Bed linen is included, but towels are not. Bathrooms are located outside the tent and were recently totally renovated.

If you book a non-ensuite room, you are booking a bed in a house tent which is equipped with very comfortable beds. Blankets, bed linen and pillows are included in the price.

    Fabulous

It is a cheaper alternative to stay close to Rome. The shuttle service from the airport was good. It had a nice restaurant and pool. The bungalows were good for the money. The reception was extremely busy all day so you had to constantly queue. Plus on a Sunday the buses to Rome aren't direct and are also hourly without an official timetable which was frustrating.

Location not great. Not really a hostel, more of a camping ground.

The floors of the rooms are connected to next door, so when someone next door walks around the whole chalet moves. The walk up to the rooms with suitcases is very difficult. Uphill on cobblestone paths with steep inclines. The pool area is nice and the restaurant staff are lovely.

Way too far out of town, the bathroom doors don't really lock, the bed kept breaking and the staff was not all that friendly. But the showers were nice and clean, and so was the room, and the pool. The AC was awesome too.

We waited to check in for nearly 45 minutes despite there being 8+ staff behind the counters. Location is far from city centre and public transport is difficult to navigate, hostel runs a shuttle but even that isnt worth the hassle. Hostel is more of a family camp ground so there is lots of kids running around at all times. Cabins are not near the check in and they are all up hill. Would not stay here again

It took a long time to check in even though there weren’t that many people. The reception is also outdoors so we had to wait in the sun for an hour. The staff were not polite and not at all helpful. The hostel is quite far from the main sites and, though they have a shuttle bus running, there is only one that comes and goes completely off their scheduled times so we ended up wasting hours of our time. The bungalow was clean and facilities were good. Wouldn’t recommend for short stays in Rome.

Staff was very rude at reception and definitely didn't care about the customers. The restaurant also serves food that is just microwaved, honestly avoid it at all chances.

NOT A HOSTEL. This is a family resort, kids everywhere, very out of the way so I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re on a budget. No facilities to cook, staff attempted to fine us 800€ (our mistake), but was soon reduced to 50€ and wiped off the next day (trying to scam). Attempted to check in at the right time but couldn’t be checked in until 8hours later so we lost a full day. Do not stay here if you’re backpacking
