My only two complaints are that the WiFi was not working (but the staff was kind enough to tell me how to get to a nearby McDonalds where there was free WiFi), and the shower was too hot and could not be adjusted (my skin was nearly scalded; better than a cold shower, but not by much).

+ great cleanliness + spacious room + close to a bus station, 10 minutes walk to city centre + staff on booking a tour was very helpful - we were downgraded from a 4 bed dorm to an 8 bed dorm cause our booking went missing - our room was right next to a trainline, and the windows didn't close properly so it was quite loud -windows didn't close -> cold(ish) -staff on checking in was very unhelpful

    Very Good

The location is nice, it is really close to the city center so we could return walking without any problem. The bedrooms are clean and the kitchen has many tools to cook. However, somedays the shower wasn’t working properly so the water was cold. Adding on, one of the members of the staff was a bit rude as he complained that we were arriving late (so he had to wake up to open us the door). Despite these facts, the stay was comfortable and the hostel was worth it.

It was very secure. I felt like myself and my items were safe. It seemed to be in a nice neighbourhood. They didn’t have wifi though and the bed pillows were very flat. The staff was friendly and helpful. The shower and toilet area weren’t the cleanest. There was no towel or paper towel in the room with the toilet. That was a little strange. They only had 2 toilets and 2 showers, on my floor at least. Not really much of an atmosphere for socialization. I don’t think I’d stay there again.

Was a pretty average stay, to be honest. Bathrooms a little mouldy, smelled like mould. A little dirty in the rooms. Beds were good and comfortable though so I guess that’s all you need really. They advertise that they have WIFI but they actually don’t. Therefore I think you can find a better hostel for a similar price. Waste of money for me because I had to use my phone a few times and I didn’t have a SIM card for Europe, so have been relying on wifi.

I haven't stayed in many hostels, but I thought the price I paid for this place was way too high for the facility. The staff were all rude to us and we didnt even have any reason to interact with them other than check in and out. No wifi, very dim lighting in room, big crack in the window of the room and the bunk bed was right beside it. I was afraid if I rolled against it in the middle of the night I would fall out of a second story room. No more hostels for this girl.

Hostels are known for being budget accommodations but Paddy's Palace had good reviews and were a meeting point for our tours. Their double private room (6'x9') shares a single shower/ bathroom with the floor ~20 people. It had a shattered window, so drunken yelling, normal conversation, the train, and traffic were entirely un-muted and easily audible. There was no wifi access due to multi-day problem. Breakfast was minimal. We decided to cancel our second night and book elsewhere. 2.9+2 min=4.9
