The photographs do not do this lovely accommodation justice! The small resort of traditional long houses is just 5 minutes from the popular tourist destination that is Sepilok, and is totally surrounded by rainforest. Although hot in the dorm at night, it is an incredible feeling to see, feel and hear the rainforest from lying in bed. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was very tasty. Free shuttle to Sepilok. Best place we have stayed in Borneo.

Really nice place to stay. Not far from Sandakan airport and only 5 mins from the Sepilok Orang-Utans, which they provide a free shuttle to in the morning. Comfortable beds with good mosquito nets. Good breakfast included and the restaurant serves nice food at a reasonable price in the evening

In the middle of nowhere, dorm room is nice but v v hot at night. Shared facilities are clean enough. We upgraded to a private room on our last night with aircon and a nice view and enjoyed the luxury of our ensuite facilities. Food on site was good. Staff friendly. Didnt do any of the other tours advertised. Heard from other travellers that the firefly tour was disappointing but we didnt do this ourselves. Free shuttle to orangutan sanctuary
