By far my favorite hostel after over 6 months of traveling SE Asia. Ron, who runs it is one of the nicest most accommodating and funny people I’ve ever met. He’s constantly giving the guests freebies, like barbecues at night, raffles, food, etc. The social scene is amazing, perfect environment to meet people to adventure or just hang. I made lots of life long friends there. Ron also organizes daily activities like swimming, trekking, cooking classes, and even took us for a visit to his village.

Came for 2 nights and a week later I’m still here with at least another two weeks booked. Pai is the perfect place to chill out and have a super groovy time with some of the nicest people in the world. Ron is the most amazing host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and really enjoying your time here. The location is perfect with beautiful views and the town is only a 25min walk along the rice fields. Alternatively they can organise a scooter for you. Plentyofveganfood

Ron, who owns and runs the hostel is hands down the nicest person you will ever meet. I came alone, my first time travelling alone, and he made sure I was introduced to everyone if there was a tour going he would ask if I wanted to join in. He organises tours himself for you for such good prices. The best atmosphere to meet people who are so open and friendly. Yes it isn’t the cleanest place being so outdoors but it’s an unforgettable experience. Couldn’t recommend more.

Nice room, clean enough, free bbq at the hostel on Friday night and free fried rice in the mornings. Very social hostel if you’re looking to meet other people.

THIS HOSTEL IS SO MUCH FUN! once you are there you will never want to leave again! Even though the rooms themselves are not very special, the atmosphere is what makes the hostel very extraordinary and chill. Everyones veey nice as well, but what makes the hostel really special is the owner Ron, who seems to really love his job and his hostel. Thanks to him everything there seems to be loved and a lot of things are self made! I would definitely recommend this place!

    Fabulous

I stayed in a private room w/fan. This hostel is like staying at a campground in a cabin with a better bed and your own bathroom. So there will be bugs and I did have a lot of ants in my room, but it was manageable. Rent a scooter for at least 1 day here! The roads are chill so it's the best place to learn. The owner Ron is amazing - he will literally do anything to make guests happy. This hostel is set up so you never have to leave and may never want to.

    Very Good

Very good atmosphere in the evenings, with a very lively bar. Ron is very helpful and nice, is happy to help with everything, although the other staff don't speak great English. Our private room was a bit dirty, but the facilities were good there. The location is a bit far from town, you would need to hire a bike to get into and out of town/explore the area.

We had a terrible time here. Other than Ron (who is admittedly a nice guy) the staff dont speak English. When we checked in, our room didnt have any toilet paper and was not clean. The bed was rock solid - so our sleeps werent great. Breakfast was meh. On our second day the power went out meaning we couldn't shower or have any running water. The next morning we dealt with the same thing. Overall, for the price you're paying, it's a bed. Others like it, we certainly didn't.

Room didn’t get cleaned once, had to ask for toilet paper twice, $100 was stolen out of my back pack, so god knows what they were doing in our room when it was never cleaned? & considering you can’t flush toilet paper in Asia, it’s really gross! Lost water 2 mornings in a row & when it turned on it was completely brown. Hired bikes through them & then made us pay 400B for “damage” to the bike (couple scratches) while accusing two other girls next to us for a broken handle & lots of weed smokers!
