Liked this hostel a lot but was dismayed to find it was shutting down due to Covid and the prices for the last few nights quadrupled and some!

Always good to stay here. Were willing to accomodate international guests during this coronavirus uncertanty. They have indicated they will stay open which is vital as so many other hostels are closing leaving guests with no where go go. I hope they can stay open.

Awesome London hostel. I stayed in the female only room and I felt so safe. Staff was friendly. Shower was good. Free breakfast. Would have loved to stay longer. I have previously stayed at their Swiss Cottage location and loved it as well. It’s a great hostel company.

Its a solid hostel! It has lots of rooms, and is quite big, so probably not the best hostel for making friends. But it is in a good location, felt very safe whilst staying there and lots of good food options nearby.

Breakfast wasn’t great, not vegan friendly. But other than that the room was worth £15 in the middle of London, get what you payfor .

I have to say that I wasn’t too impressed by the fact that the cleaning staff didn’t do a good job of cleaning. The bed I was assigned when I checked in had not been given new sheets because it had period blood stains on it. I went to reception to let them know and staff checked me into another bed but that bed also seemed like it had not been given new sheets after the previous person.

It's far from center. Have in mind you'll have at least 1h30 of public transport each day to go into the center London and come back. The schedule of the kitchen. The breakfast is between 7 and 10. Before 7, if you have to go somewhere and want to make yourself breakfast with your own food, you can't. The kitchen is closed. At 10h30, if you wake up after the breakfast time, you can't access your own food until noon. The staff can be really nice but other can be really rude.

Palmers Lodge - Hillspring at Willesden Green says

I think what makes our hostel really special is our atmosphere. We're in a modern building full of collectors' objects and quirky boutique interiors, with custom-made bunk beds that have curtains and nightlights for extra privacy in our large dorms. Our guests seem to appreciate that they have the option to both relax after a long day or to join the crowd and socialise if they want to.
We're quite close to Kensal Green where you'll find the famous All Souls Cemetery. The Neasden Temple is also nearby; this architectural gem is the first and largest traditional Hindu Temple in the world outside of India and a must-see attraction open to all visitors. Around the corner in Kilburn, I recommend visiting The Tricycle Theatre. It's the perfect cultural fix, comprising a challenging and innovative theatre programme, a cinema and an art gallery, as well as a café and a bar, and was voted 'London's most beautiful cinema' by Vogue magazine.
