The place is very calm and quiet. Ideal for individuals or group. The owner Ken was so nice that he even made hot food for me when I reached late on first day. Also had good time meeting new people and visiting nearby places like beach, castle and hiking on the Welsh coastal path. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent get away. Ken, the owner, is great. Very accommodating, an excellent cook, and great story teller. Very comfortable in a well worn inn.

A friendly if somewhat rustic place to stay. There are no drying facilities for wet clothes. The place is in dire need of some TLC but it's nice and relaxed; showers are good and the kitchen is OK. Bar drinks were very expensive at more than hotel prices. The evening meal we had was good and the owner Ken is a mine of useful information and fascinating to chat to.

Would do better business if cheaper as some upgrading needed that most would ignore if it was cheaper.

    Very Good

Cramped accommodation, we had 6 berth room, strange and wacky ante-room to main building. Locked doors which had toilet and bar behind them. Ken was very friendly and helpful. The bar would be essential if raining as room too small. Pool table and darts were fun. Okay for a night, but if there was an alternative nearer to Carmarthen we would have booked that.

The owners are great hosts and the property is within about a mile from a great beach. I’m sorry but this is the only nice thing that I can say about this accommodation. Bathroom facilities were cheaply done and could just about squeeze into toilet cubicle and shut the door. I’m tiny btw! Kitchen facilities are rubbish as only half the hobs work on the cooker and the oven takes too long to get going. Rooms were basic and had a damp smell. IMO the whole place needs a refurb.

Ken, the owner, made us very welcome and kindly allowed us to leave our car parked on the premises for a couple of days. The venue itself is rather dingey and threadbare but the setting is lovely on a good day...
