Paradise Beach is truely a paradise beach. Though not at all as crowded as Patong there can be quite a few people in the day time, but in the evenings or mornings, it's just beautiful. And that's something you'd only experience properly if staying at this hostel. There's apparently a huge party on Saturdays, but everything was very calm and quiet in the weekdays. It could have been fun to experience the nightlife in Patong, but being too far from the town, that wasn't really an option for me.

Paradise beach is a lovely little spot. The beach and facilities are clean and tidy. The beds are very squeaky and wobbly but very comfortable. The bathroom facilities are very dated with just 2 showers and the wash basin area needs modernising, it lets the place down. Don’t let this put you off though as it is a great place to stay. It’s quiet and the restaurant food is delicious. I would definitely stay again!

beautiful beach! If you stay at hostel you get free entry to paradise beach. Hostel staff very helpful, FREE shuttle to and from Patong every 30min! Rooms clean, we stayed in 12 bed mixed, staff come tidy and empty garbage every day. Showers could be cleaner, but hot water heater does work. Beach staff not so friendly, especially the restaurant staff. Felt like we were wasting there time eating there. Very over priced food and drinks on beach. Every Saturday is a moon party, very loud!

Lockers were a bit small, door handle was falling off the room door. Very cool location but a bit cumbersome to constantly wait for the shuttle bus. Staff wasn’t that nice. Saturday night party was really fun, but music was booming through the bedroom until 5am. A party hostel for sure.

Only reason I booked here was to enjoy paradise beach. After checkin, we were told that we could not go on the beach unless we paid the ticket price for the New Moon Party which was reduced to 600bt as we were guests.Had to speak to the manager to just to get access to the restaurant to eat dinner. The restaurant turned out to be extremely overpriced and we took the shuttle into town instead. The music was extremely LOUD all night, and I could feel the vibration from the bass from my room.

The staff was very friendly and the beach was nice but other than that this was the worst hostel I’ve stayed at. The food and water is very overpriced and there’s only one place to get it. Only one restaurant and it closes at 7. Far away from everything and the shuttle stops at 6. Our room was barely finished and the beds were rock hard. Bathrooms are also fairly far from the rooms and there’s little privacy. I was disappointed.

I would not recommend this hostel to travellers unless you are planning on spending a couple days at the beach and just need somewhere to crash at night. You will not meet anyone and the bathrooms are far away and completely disgusting. There is no where to eat except the very expensive restaurant on the beach. The staff is not the most friendly or accommodating. Solo travellers especially should avoid this place. The beach is nice for a day trip but staying here is unnecessary.
