Property Description

Featuring large common areas, complete kitchen and rentable event space, we are here to suit your accommodation needs. Make new friends and new memories and live the Park City experience!

If you haven’t been acquainted with Park City allow me to introduce you. Park City was founded by miners and reclaimed by ski bums. Park City, with its wealth of mountain sport facilities, helped neighboring Salt Lake host the 2002 Winter Olympics. Today the small city is home to millionaires who refuse to grow up as well as a new generation of ski bums. On the mountain or in one of the local watering holes it can be hard to tell them apart. Oh! And did I mention that for two weeks a year film enthusiasts and Hollywood’s A list show up for a cinematic event you may know as Sundance Film Festival. And I almost forgot, Park City now boasts the largest ski resort in the country! Combine that with the best snow on Earth and you’ve found yourself a place that will keep any powder-hunter endlessly entertained. It’s truly a winter wonderland with a healthy helping of culture and no shortage of fun. You’re probably asking yourself “what’s the catch?” Well… It was affordability… until now.

Park City Hostel is the newest in the lineup of lodging options in Park City. It offers a variety of rooms to suit everyone needs and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

The facilities here are very nice. The staff are friendly, helpful, and give good recommendations for the area. Hostel events most nights. Free overnight parking + PC buses. The common areas are comfortable, spacious, and social (BYOB). Quiet hours are enforced after 11pm. There’s a pool table and board games. They have gear storage rooms for skis, boards, and boots. Boot and glove dryers. Lockers in rooms (bring a lock, $5 to buy one). A bit expensive for a hostel but super cheap for Park City

I rarely give 10/10. But credit, where credit is due. This place made me feel welcome and secure. It nurtured a sense of friends and family among strangers intl and stateside. A solid breakfast was included, access to extra blankets. Grill on the rooftop was super fun. Kitchen and pantry super organized. Outings planned by the live in hosts, theres always someone to talk to. I was there for hot tub sunday and pub crawl tuesday. Access to bus for easy transport through the city and to the slopes.

This hostel is great! The beds are SUPER comfortable and the sheets/blankets are warm and smelled fantastic. I was in a 6 person (female) dorm and there were lockers AND shelves to store all our items. They also provide ear plugs if needed. The hostel is also located super close to buses that take you to Park City & Deer Valley or to the main street if you want to have a night out. The Friday night BBQ was a great way to meet fellow travelers and staff. Would stay again!!

Stayed in the female dorm! Clean, cozy. Ear plugs supplied in case of snoring. Bathrooms were clean. Had fun activities while there- Rooftop bbq and Super Bowl party. Very close to bus stop for free ride to the slopes. Would definitely stay again!

Great hostel. Super clean and quiet. Only issue we had was the temperature of the room. We didn't have a window (only a door to a shared balcony),so it was very hot making it difficult to sleep.

Awesome place to stay in Park City for skiing! Pretty easy to get to the lifts and all the hostel amenities are fantastic. The only thing I noticed was a couple different people checking in had trouble finding the staff in the middle of the day. Overall the staff is wonderful though!

    Fabulous

I am a fan of Hostels, so I will note that due to COVID, the Park City is operating like a small motel instead of a hostel. All of the shared rooms and dining space is closed. Only private rooms are available. For a 'motel', it was fine ... clean, quiet. The location is nearly two miles (via a well paved and lit trail) from Park City 'central' ... Main Street with restaurants, shops, bars. I always appreciated the walk, even when my friend opted to drive. Would stay again.

    Fabulous

This is a great hostel for the area, and very affordable. My biggest gripe is the following: I REALLY dislike when hostels have separate dormitories just for women, but don't have separate dormitories for just men. Either have both or have neither. I was traveling with a female companion and she felt a bit uncomfortable staying with me in a room full of men (since all the other women had segregated themselves as per hostel design). Also, there were also never any paper towels in the bathroom.
