My only issue was to find out that they didn't have an elevator and I had two suitcases. For everything else it was grate for what I needed, a place to sleep and have my luggage secure. Comfy bed, perfect space for a private room and nice shared bathrooms. The free breakfast is nice and fills you enough for the rest of the day.

It a great place to stay. I flew in from Saipan, a US Territory in the Pacific Islands for a conference at Sheraton Grand Hotel. From O'Hara, I caught a training and walked 1 minute to my hotel with the conference within minutes away. Awesome place, great neighborhood and friendly environment .. highly recommended.

Great location one block from the L. One block from bikes and the neighborhood is fantastic. Eat Tyropita at the deli next door! My Only warning is that the Greeks like to party and dance all night long on the weekends across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed watching them from the fire escape but sleep would have been difficult that night.

My daughter and I were going pleasantly surprised at how quiet and respectful people staying at the hostel were. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was clean, comfortable, safe and convenient to transit. For improvements I would suggest adding a healthier cereal like granola or packets of porridge. Adding a mechanism to the bathroom door so it does not slam shut.

The location is good, close to downtown, but you should use public transportation. I liked the atmosphere of the hostel. Mike (if I remember well) was extremly nice and helpful, I appreciated it a lot! He helped me to find a laundry, checked the opening hours. You could feel that you count as a guest there. The breakfast was basic (and once there was a homeless person eating with us, which was quite weird.)

great place to stay for a night to rest like I did, otherwise if you have plans to stay any longer it's not worth it.. location kind of hard to find I expected more from the room I stayed in. no TV in the room, but besides that good place to stay..

Location is good - 15min walk to sears tower and 25 to downtown. Unfortunately the place just lacks atmosphere. The common area is small and was empty every time I went in. The only cooking facilities are a microwave so that doesn't really make for a sociable kitchen. Alcohol is prohibited so you can't chat over a beer in the evenings, either. The breakfast was a good touch but it was a little frustrating that there were extra charges for towels and even leaving my suitcase for the day!
