Stayed here for 2 nights, guest in room where respectful. It’s cleans, bed was very comfortable. Hostel is very close to shops on Michigan Ave, I walked which took about 30-45 minutes so if you enjoy exercise it’s not a bad walk and probably less than 5 minutes driving. Location is very safe.

I enjoyed my stay at Parthenon Hostel. The travelers were friendly while during the Coronavirus epidemic. The room mates I had were inviting and gave me resources to navigate the city better. The Joel was easy going with loads of information to ensure that my stay was comfortable. I enjoyed my time and will definitely be back again soon. Personally for me a plus was the grocery stores were near by. You heard it here first! ~ MaLa B.| Lifestyle Entertainment Writer| Google Local Guide Reviewer

I think this place is clean secure and friendly. I hope the shared place can be better tho, I was trying to do some study there, but the table is quite wierd for me. idk, I dont feel like the shared space is comfortable enough to talk to people or do our own things.

I was a younger female traveling myself - felt completely safe the whole time. Irish pub next door was cute, 7Eleven and Target conveniently close by, as well as the metro.

Good hotel, good location, friendly staff, lovely Greek restaurants nearby. A bit hard to adjust the temperature in our room without getting too hot or too cold.

Price is right and includes the infamous 17% Chicago tourist tax. Staff was courteous and engaged. Bring a towel or pay $2. Nice big room for the breakfast continental. No elevator. I had a fourth floor dorm room--walk up four floors. The room was spacious. Only one light in the room and eight people--so, be considerate!

Clean beds, double locks on dorm doors, polite staff. The kitchenette had a serious fruit fly problem & there were not enough dishes, especially spoons & cups, for the number of people (~8) who were eating breakfast. The floor underneath was warped underneath the carpet in the hallways. Not ADA accessible at all, but they do state that on their page.
