I had a little trouble finding it at first, but that was more to do with my map skills as the hostel is really well placed near bars, supermarkets and subways. Even though I was only there one night, the staff and other guests made me feel really welcome and were really fun to hang out with. They gave me great advice on things to see in Japan which I wouldn’t have found otherwise, and also tips about food as I’m vegetarian! I felt right at home there, thank you!

Really nice people working and staying there, very close to cool places to walk around and try food, including a really awesome cheap grocery chain, Takeda.

Very good value for the price. The hostel is an old Japanese house converted into a hostel so it's a bit cramped but it's very clean and the facilities were really good. Beds have curtains. Location is pretty nice, very quiet at night and only 10-15 minutes walk to some of the popular tourist spots. The staff are volunteers but they're very friendly and helpful. Only downside is that it doesn't have proper lockers, only the very small ones

Staying in Peace House Abeno was a fantastic experience. I was traveling with my friends around Osaka to celebrate finishing the school year and this place exceeded my expectations by far. All the facilities are clean and well-maintained and the beds were comfortable. The owner of the place is incredibly friendly and made our stay all the more pleasant. Overall a great experience for such a low price! We highly recommend.

Lovely little hostel tucked away in the middle of a residential area but just a 2 minute walk to the supermarket and plenty of off-beat cafes and bars nearby. 10 minute walk from the Metro and one of the main tourist areas too. The beds are the most comfortable I've had in Japan and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. This place made my trip to Osaka! Couldn't recommend enough!

    Very Good

I think the place is good over all. The location where the hostel is located a bit of a walk from the nearest subway station and it looks like a normal Japanese neighborhood. As you walk into the hostel, it looks like a normal Japanese house. You first enter the living room where some of the guests are hanging out but it's not a big area so for six people it looks very crammed. The layout of the hostel is interesting. The staff at the hostel all sound like they have Russian accents.
