GREAT place to be if you want to shop and explore Darling Harbor....(Just 3 min away) The staff’s friendly, people are overtly kind, and the restaurant/bar is RIGHT around the corner....Just mind your step on the way to the bathrooms 😉👍

Showers weren't cubicles, so you needed to close the main bathroom door for privacy. The beds were very thin and spring, uncomfortable sleep. Towels, shampoo and soap bar provided though. The door was difficult to open to the room, not the best but it was sufficient for price, short stay and very central location! The restaurant downstairs did good food too!

Awesome location but facilities ehm not great. The beds were the hardest I've ever slept on and the showers on the first floor had no privacy at all and a little metal shelf structure which made it impossible to use two of them on the sides. Staff was very helpful and friendly though especially when I had my bed literally 'stolen' haha

Great location, difficult to talk to reception as it is only open when the bar is open. Very basic amenities. The bathroom was disappointing. The separation wall between the shower stalls stops half way down, for a short person, this is at about mid waist - very uncomfortable considering there is no separate mens and womens showers. Also, the toilet doors do not have locks on them. Good to stay at if you just want to sleep.

The bathroom is littered with poor plumbing, slippery floor, broken tiles, broken hand basin....bathroom rate 1 out of 10, and is actually a disaster waiting to happen....well below basic expectations; broken window facing street Furnishing 2nd hand pick-ups; hanging facility for clothes....nil; this room is not worth any more than $60 per night Location is the only plus for Peg Leg Tavern, could be made into good accommodation Hotel attendant a smart arse. I stay with YHA on a regular basis

Pro's: - Great location near Darling Habour, with easy walk to Sydney CBD. - Very close to Coles and great restaurants and takeaways (Star & Harbourside mall) - Easy to get to from the Airport from light rail. Con's: - Limited cooking facilities. - Showers are communal - wear swimwear while showering as zero privacy - Roof top is nice but no lights at night - Security is low, front door is left open regularly and had people come in to hostel at 3am and woken me up to ask for a room.

This place is fine for 1 nights stay but i would not advise people stay here for any length of time. There is no kitchen on site. Fridges are provided in the rooms but they are tiny. No air con, just a small fan and you rely on having your windows wide open constantly. There were only 2 lockers in my room, in a room of 4 and the lockers were situated under the other 2 bunks, so i couldnt use them. I relied on leaving my bags in my bed. You need to check in via the pub during open hours

It wouldn’t be so bad if they have a proper manager, the guy who is the manager ( a guy with mustache) he didn’t want to say his name, was a complete moron. The ventilation wasn’t working properly and they clean the rooms with products that made my eyes and noise itchy, it was impossible to sleep. I wouldn’t come back.

The worst experience I've ever had with accommodation. When they attempted to debit me for the amount owing and failed due to insufficient funds, not only did they not attempt to let me know that I did not have funds in the account, they proceeded to cancel my booking without any sort of notice. When they did attempt to debit as well, they took an extra 20% as well as the initial deposit of 15%, to which was not helpful, as I had to rebook my accommodation. There is so much more they did badly.
