Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

Cancelación al mes anterior antes de la fecha de la llegada se devuelve el 15% del total de la reserva. La cancelación con circunstancias especiales más adelante que un mes, se valorar a criterio. La reserva anulada en el mes de dichas fechas no se hace devoluciones.

Property Description

Pension Virgen de la Luz is located in the Puerta de Carmona area, within Seville's historical quarter, right by Barrio Santa Cruz and just a few minutes away from the Cathedral, the Alcazar, Plaza de España, Parque de Maria Luisa, Prado de San Sebastian and the bull fighting ring.

Around the guesthouse the visitor can find numerous tapas bars, restaurants and popular spots focusing on one of the main local tourist attractions: flamenco.

The building shows the typical regional architecture, with its central patio decorated with precious tiles and ceramics, plants and andalusian-style furniture. This traditionally arranged architecture provides the visitor with indirect natural light everywhere in the premises, highlighting its beauty.

We are 10 minutes away from the train station (where the airport shuttle will drop you off) and 20 minutes away from the bus station Plaza de Armas. The metro and tram stations are 10 minutes away as well.

Please bear in mind that if a property cannot pre-authorise your card for any reason, they will email you to ask you for further details. Should they not receive a response from you within 24 Hours they would be then entitled to cancel your reservation due to insufficient card details.

There is air conditioning and heating in all rooms but if the client wishes to make use of it, he must pay at the pension a supplement of € 5.00 per day

    Place was lovely and had a very unique feel to it. My room was nice but I couldn’t turn off the air con or change the settings. My bed was so springy and uncomfortable it was very hard to sleep as the springs kept digging into my ribs. WiFi connection was very weak and I think I was next to the water tank or something because a very loud noise appeared every time it sounded like someone turn the tap on which was annoying. Apart from these things it was a lovely restful stay

    Convenient location and the hostel is very clean. The owner/staff is very nice and accommodating. If the windows are open at night, you should bring a pair of ear plugs. I heard others dragging their luggage nearby and it may wake you up at night.

    The staff randomly enter your room without informing you and replace your towels. I was never told this would be happening. I would have preferred they be upfront about this. The owner has a kitchen (on the first floor) but 'guests' can't use it. Even though he leaves the door to it open and there are no signs saying otherwise. Like I get that he doesn't want guests to use it, but at least give your guests access to a fridge and microwave. There was no way for me to securely close my window.

    My review would have surely been more positive if it wasn’t for the bed bug bites that I woke up with. I counted at least 12 bites on my arms and legs. I understand that expectations when staying at a hostel are not the same as staying in a proper hotel but bed bugs are simply not acceptable.

    They checked us into a room with a broken bed...and they knew it was broken. They didn't let us know until the next day when they changed. We also let them know we kept rolling into the middle of the mattress because the frame was broken. Another problem is the ceiling paint keeps chipping and falling onto your head while you're laying in bed. But worst of all was the response from the hostel when we brought these concerns up to them. They took no accountability at all!!!
