Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

POLITICA DE CANCELACION:
Cancelación al mes anterior antes de la fecha de la llegada se devuelve el 15% del total de la reserva. La cancelación con circunstancias especiales más adelante que un mes, se valorar a criterio. La reserva anulada en el mes de dichas fechas no se hace devoluciones.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellation a month earlier before the date of arrival we return 15% of the total reservation. Transfer fee by the customer. Cancellation with special circumstances later than a month, please contact us.

Property Description

Pension Virgen de la Luz is located in the Puerta de Carmona area, within Seville's historical quarter, right by Barrio Santa Cruz and just a few minutes away from the Cathedral, the Alcazar, Plaza de España, Parque de Maria Luisa, Prado de San Sebastian and the bull fighting ring.

Around the guesthouse the visitor can find numerous tapas bars, restaurants and popular spots focusing on one of the main local tourist attractions: flamenco.

The building shows the typical regional architecture, with its central patio decorated with precious tiles and ceramics, plants and andalusian-style furniture. This traditionally arranged architecture provides the visitor with indirect natural light everywhere in the premises, highlighting its beauty.

We are 10 minutes away from the train station (where the airport shuttle will drop you off) and 20 minutes away from the bus station Plaza de Armas. The metro and tram stations are 10 minutes away as well.

    Pension was very cute and had a very nice overall design. Within easy walking distance of all major sights in Sevilla. Room was very clean when I arrived and was cleaned each day of my stay. The pension itself was very safe but access to the room didn’t feel very secure. There was a window looking out directly into the courtyard and while there were bars over the window, the window did not latch shut. The door to the room itself did lock but it felt more decorative than secure to me.

    People were nice enough, but facilities were super dated. I get that we're going for no frills here, but when the temperature drops to 10 degrees and you're in a rooftop unit with no insulation and no heating unit, it gets to be very uncomfortable. Also, would have gladly paid 5 EUR more/day for linen from post-1970.
