Really good hostel! Fantastic staff and nice rooms. There are mosquito nets and fans in the rooms, but it's still pretty hot overnight. Highly recommend.

A basic hostel with a relaxed atmosphere a short walk from the main streets in town. The staff were friendly and helpful and generally we have no complaints. It’s a small family run hostel so don’t expect too much of a social atmosphere but it’s good value for money for private rooms. Kitchen is good, if a little dirty. It would be nice if they had water to sell. Overall would recommend.

A nice place, but it could use improvements. This looks more like a place for someone who's really tight on their budget and doesn't mind that the rooms are very hot. The rooms don't need to be hot, but, they are. There are kitchen facilities, but I wasn't able to partake in the BBQ dinner offered as it wasn't on the night that I stayed. I particularly didn't care for the backpackers that were there at the time. The family is nice and they try to keep the place tidy. Keep these in mind.

    Very Good

Hostel is pretty basic but the room was spacious and there's a good fan. We couldn't find anyone at reception at checkout and a young boy was accepting money off people ...seemed a bit unorganised! We went to the sister hostel El Curichal for dinner (which was amazing) and most of the staff were there too - it was a great atmosphere there and way better equipped, so stay there instead!

We stayed for one night. Beds were comfortable, with mosquito net provided. There was a fan in the room, but it didn't spin, so only provided air for 2 out of the 4 beds. No key was provided for the bedroom and no lockers within the bedroom, so unable to secure valuables. I think there is a safe in reception, but we weren't told about this. The kitchen was large and appeared well stocked. Bathrooms were cleaned daily. Fine place to stay for a stop over before a jungle tour. No Breakfast.

It just you have to sleep overnight then it's an ok hostel otherwise everything is bad about this place. Bathrooms / toilets are not clean. Don't have much facilities and it's far from downtown. Good thing is that you get cheap 🚕
