We are situated in central London, in the famous area of Bloomsbury, where writers and artists have lived for centuries. Pickwick Hall is in the perfect location, about a four-minute walk from the British Museum and the University of London and about 10 minutes from the entertainment and shopping districts of the West End, Covent Garden, Soho, and China Town, but in a quiet street of Georgian town houses.

There is easy and direct access from Heathrow Airport by tube (straight to Holborn Station on the Piccadilly line) and train and coach connections to the other London airports and Eurostar train terminal. Good location to Euston station, Russell’s Square and West End. Comfortable bed in clean room. Note there is no place to lock up your personal items in the room if important to you. Surprisingly quiet for its central location. I woke to bird song :) Friendly staff, spacious social room & basic though good enough breakfast with fresh brewed coffee. Nice touch! You can keep food in the provided in room fridges & cook in the clean basic communal kitchen. A good find property!

    Very Good

The best part of Pickwick Hall is definitely its prime location. It is very close to Underground stops (less than 5 minutes walking to Holborn) and a block away from the (free!) British Museum. I stayed in an all-female, 4 person room. The walls were bleak and the beds were old (but very squishy). All the facilities worked fine. I would just say you really do get what you pay for (which isn't much). Overall, I would stay here again if I was traveling on a very tight budget.

    Very Good

Really good location. Stayed in a private twin room shared bathroom. The beds were comfortable but the room was dusty and the carpet dirty. The showers were very good, hot and good pressure couldn’t ask for more. Some of the towels we were given had marks on them, same with the sheets on one of the beds. Perfect place for the price, place could just do with a spring clean.

The host on the phone was friendly, but the staff in the house was not on time, gave us the wrong room key and was only partly present. The place was quite dirty, dirty spots on the blankets, dirty sink and shower, dirty floor, dirty sponges in the kitchen, sticky tables. The water in the shower was boiling hot. The breakfast was canceled without further notice. The best thing of the place was, that you could walk by foot to all the sights, like Westminster Palace or Madame Tussauds.
