Super friendly and approachable staff! They gave us a map right away and asked us what we were hoping to do here and how to help us. Lovely little back yard. Each bed had a curtain and a locker big enough to fit our giant backpacks! Highly recommend. Only suggestion for improvement is that the breakfast was just sliced sandwich bread and coffee/tea.

    Fabulous

Big hostel, we stayed there 10 people. Has a huge comfortable kitchen, and a lot of space with tables to sit down. A lot of space in the rooms as well, big lockers. Staff were ok. Can upgrade the breakfast with extra charge. Location is a bit far from the center, about 10 minutes walk - wasn't a real problem. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Huge kitchen and eating area, room clean and well kept. Really big hostel. Also has onsite restaurant. 10 minute walk to town. Great bakery on the way into town on the corner before you go left!

Great place, biggest complaint was that they had signs everywhere telling us to conserve water (which is good), but they had sprinklers running all day and broken faucets that ran all day. Please practice what you preach.

    Very Good

Nice and clean hostel, location is not the best in El Calafate but it is still a short walk to the centre, okay breakfast with delicious scramled eggs, spacious double room with good shower, internet quite good, staff sometimes seems a bit overwhelmed with usual requests (luggage storage, location of minibus terminal, excursions).

The hostel is good. Kitchen facilities are great and breakfast, although small, has some nice touches with homemade breads and jams. I had a room to myself and the bed was comfortable but shower was blocked.

    Very Good

This hostel is alright, nothing special. It’s missing the typical hostel chilling spot, both inside and outside. The only place to hang out is the dining room, with some tables and benches - Which is the only place with wifi. It’s a little out of the center, like 15 minutes walk and you’re there. I think the price is too high for the value you get.

    Good

Decent, nice big kitchen and cleanest hobs ever. nice common area, space outside too. I found it quite social. It’s very clean and there’s curtains for some of the beds so good privacy. However: very few kitchen utensils, you have to ask at reception for a knife and fork. desperately needs some DIY: lockers, while spacious, are difficult to close, leaky taps, broken tiles, the bunk ladders are bad. If everything worked and if a fully stocked kitchen then it’s worth the price.

Didn’t enjoy our stay here. Very basic hostel. In a 4 person dorm - very cramped. Bunks shaked anytime you moved. Kitchen was always dirty. No atmosphere. No soap in the bathrooms for 2 days. Husbands shorts never returned from our washing (which was expensive). Just pay more and stay somewhere else.
