The staff were lovely and made our stay easy and pleasant. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable and the common area was equipped with full kitchen facilities. The complimentary breakfast was also a nice touch, would definitely recommend.

I honestly cannot fault this hostel in any way.It is a " Must Visit". The cleanliness is what first struck me thanks to the two young girls. Then the 2 guitars and the bass.Very warm and relaxing setting. Lovely friendly welcome. The upstsirs Kitchen for optional paid breakfast was more like what I'd expect to see in a bnb than a hostel. Great work girls.

Good hostel, with extremely friendly staff and great location. Only slight problems are perhaps the security of lockers could be better and more plugs for charging phones. But on the whole, had a good stay here and cant fault the staff at all as extremely friendly and accommodating.

We only stayed one night as the goal of our trip was to cycle alonf the Waterford Greenway. It was on a quiet season, so, the hostel was quiet and nice. Provided breakfast was basic but there were paid, more spectacular options. Mixed dorms had single beds instead of bunk beds, which was nice. We liked the cleanliness of the place, and how colourful and cosy it was.

It was a very interesting experience , literally to say the least. As a single traveler who's retired yet young at heart, It felt so surreal and humbling to be cast back in to the mentality of communal sharing of living spaces with complete strangers. I loved every minute of it. Even some of the challenging parts.

4-5 block walk from bus station; 2 dorm rooms in basement of guest house; low ceilings, poor air flow, musty. Kitchen, its appliances and adjacent eating/sitting areas needed thorough cleaning; no kitchen space to keep food that doesn’t need refrigeration; dorm room had 5 single beds (bed comfy) but needed general tidying/clean-up of past guests’ left items; no heat.
