What a wonderful little hostel. We booked a private room for 2 nights and were sad to leave. The staff was so sweet and accommodating.

Great place, friendly staff, good breakfast. There is just the expensive charge of €1/hour or €5/day for safekeeping your bags after the checkout. Don't fall, you can store your stuff at the local tourist center near the church for €2.5/day.

Good kitchen facilities and great staff. Breakfast was great, plenty of options. The bathroom could use an update but overall quite clean.

Ideally located close to bus station and train station. Supermarket less than 10 min away. Bed and room is OK. Only 2 showers on the floor. Breakfast is good : ham, cheese, bread, milk, sometimes also fruits. Lack of atmosphere as people usually only stay overnight, and the personel not really present. Overall good value.

We stayed for three nights in a double room. No atmosphere, but a relaxing place. Breakfast was average. Staff was very nice. However, reception was in a different building, which was a little inconvenient. Bathrooms were subpar. In the women’s there was no toilet paper holder, the shower bar kept falling, and the curtain was plastic with holes made in it, so you couldn’t pull it open. One of the beds was broken (the slats kept falling through the frame). It was okay, but needs improvement.

The people I shared a room with were very friendly which made the experience great! However, the pillows were flat and lumpy and the bed springs really dig into you, making sleep difficult and uncomfortable. Every hostel I’ve been at has had privacy curtains of some type on the bunks except this one. It was also hard to find as google maps was sending me down the wrong road and the address from the booking website wasn’t getting me there either. It was an ok place but I won’t be staying again.

The following deserves attention in my opinion: 1: people don’t close the Main door at night (entrance from street). Once inside the main door a malicious person could easily attempt to tailgate through the door upstairs. 2: there is no electric hand dryer or paper tower in the restroom. There is one single towel that is left there for everyone to use. 3. It is utterly unfriendly to people with disabilities and people with mobility limitations. 4. Washroom is small, cleaned once per day

For a one night stay, this hostel is good - no more no less than what you expect. It has good things going for it: the location is really good, it's cheap, and it's quite safe. Staff are nice, but those that welcomed us were in training so tough to judge. Downsides: the common room is kind of unexciting, the breakfast was average, there was very little atmosphere, and the lockers were a pain to open and shut.

Staff were not available on location. When we had questions we had to go to different site and until a set time. But we did get help when we went.Women's bathroom smelled like sewage or mold...something, Hostel rooms were in old building up 3 flights of dark looming stairs. Room itself was small but good EXCEPT door knob and lock held on with one screw and very insecure. . Breakfast was quite abundant- The best I've ever seen at a hostel, We dont speak Portuguese however
