    Superb

PROS: The room was spacious with even a desk, chair and bookshelf. It also had a closet and faucet. It was very comfy. CONS: There were showers for men in two floors but only one of them had shampoo.

    Fabulous

I was a bit scared due to the ratings but it was ok. - room was clean (but super old and ugly and the chair fell apart) - I didn't like that they entered the room without my permission to clean - Yes the showers could use another curtain when you enter the room and someone is changing you can see everything. - Third floor without elevator (but the nice guy at reception carried my luggage up) - the area is very nice and the Palais Lichtenstein great for a walk and sitting in the sun

    Very Good

This has more of a hotel feel than a hostel. Hard to meet people and make friends, I wouldn’t recommend this for solo travellers. The ladies showers were closed for repair when I was there and the men’s only had one curtain while there was 4 showering spots. Felt a bit uncomfortable showering. Great location, beds are comfy, it’s a quiet area so you can actually sleep. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful!

    Good

Staff were friendly and did what they could to help. Things were just barely clean enough; the shower drain was plugged so when you took showers the room flooded, which was kind of gross. The rooms are clearly set up for dorm style, but the wood for the bed frames/desks/etc. was very worn. You could touch the other bed in the 2-person room with your foot if you sat on your own bed, but the bed itself was comfy. Slightly weird feel throughout, with general darkness and no one in the common room.

Stayed here for one night and it was fine for one night. Quiet. Not the place to meet other people. The reviews were right in that the wifi was not good, but luckily I didn't spend too much time in the room.

Was alright for one night, but quite basic and rooms had a strange smell to them.

the walls of the room are just dirty. This is a dormitory - and you should think of the worse. There is no female bathroom on the second floor - so you have to walk down or up to a shower where there is no shelf, no hangers near the shower itself - terrible.

The hostel looked really nice to me. HOWEVER, I had to give such a bad grading because I left the hostel all bitten by bedbugs!!! I saw the furniture is really old, but this is not a problem for me. The sheets were clean, so I was pretty satisfied. But then, I woke up in the next day and my arms started itching a lot. I thought it were mosquitoes. But During the day, I found out other spots also itching in my whole body! It was really bedbugs. I'm so not coming back there. Terrible!
