Very hostel-like. Great location, takes about 15 minutes from station and 40 from airport but located in a way that all the touristy things are at a walking distance. Rooms are a bit cramped up and can definitely use a way to get rid of all the humidity since 8 people in a small room on a humid day can be a really sweaty situation. Chris at reception was an absolute delight with eagerness to help me out with whatever I needed, something rarely expected out of a hostel.

This hostel is really well suited for backpackers and travellers, especially due to the lockers which can fit 2 large backpacks in one. It’s very well located and it’s equipped with everything that could be required. Staff are super friendly and there’s a lovely atmosphere. It includes breakfast, and provides sandwiches which we used for lunch as well. The hostel was clean and the rooms were absolutely fine.

Overall I had a great stay, rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Lockers were secure and I always felt completely safe. Staff were extremely helpful. Keep in mind there is no elevators to reception and rooms in case there is any mobility issues.

Location was brilliant super close to everything we wanted to go see. Value for money was good and staff were friendly. Only improvements would be the cooking facilities- the cooker didn't work at first and had to get a staff member to sort it out so we could cook. Also a fan in the room would of made the stay alot better as it got very hot at night.

Couldn’t ask for a better location for site seeing. Staff was very friendly and the sandwiches they offer at breakfast time are better than the traditional “hostel breakfast” you see elsewhere. There is a common room but it’s not great for socializing. In the summertime the rooms are also very hot. However, they have large windows so it’s tolerable.

    Very Good

    14 Jun 2019
Absolutely do not stay here during the summer. The hostel has no AC and does not have fans either to keep rooms from being even hotter than the 90 degree weather outside. I woke up in a pool of sweat each night. The location is great and convenient but losing two nights of sleep to heat may not have been worth it.

The hostel itself was fine but half way through our stay we were told to switch rooms without any notice. That in itself isn't the end of the world, but the management was very rude about it and didn't recognize at all it was an inconvenience. We were switched to a way smaller room (in a tight negative way) and it was very frustrating especially since we were given no notice about this shift in rooms.

Great staff made it ok (forget the British guys name). The room had a musty smell and plumbing facilities are poor. If you're even average size you will struggle to move in both the WC and the shower. If you are large, forget it. Location is great except for the 24 hour noise right outside.

Prague Square Hostel says

This is a very culturally and historically rich area, and one of our most unique aspects is that we're in a historical building with the Old Prague legends on the walls.
Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock are just 150m away and the Jewish Quarter's only a two-minute walk, while Charles Bridge is just five minutes away. I recommend that people also visit the Lennon Wall, the Letna Park Beer Gardens and Golden Lane. We've got exclusive discounts for some must-see places in Prague, like museums, tours and local bars and restaurants. Marek, Owner/Manager
