When we say independent, we mean it! You'll find NO lockouts or silly curfew rules here! We also have three double rooms, ideal for couples or persons who desire a little more privacy. You'll find ample toilets and showers (no shortage of hot water here) conveniently located on all three floors. And during your stay, why not take in one of over 500 movies available to you in our Video lounge?

Only downside is that it is on a fourth floor, and then you have to do more stairs to get to the rooms. Also our room was on top of a bar so quite loud.

Staff VERY laid back and understanding about losing my wallet in London and we worked it out, they held my Passport and I paid them as soon as my cards arrived. Facility is being renovated and painted, bathrooms downstairs were super modern. Hostel is a maze/labyrinth at first, with stairs up and down leading to rooms. Only bad part, luggage wise, was 5th floor stairs to get up to Hostel and stayed 3 floors down stairs once inside. However without luggage was good daily exercise! Overall 9/10

Been here a few times, really handy for city centre, staff friendly. However the power points at the bedsides don't work, so you, and your room mates have to share the 2 main sockets. It would be quite cheap to renew the cheap bedside power points with decent ones this time! Cheers!

The bed was comfortable, and having kitchen access was a big plus. The Wifi didn't work on my phone, but that wasn't much of an issue for me. The place has character, the staff are friendly, and the price is excellent for the location. It does everything you need without much extra, but if you're backpacking, you won't need any.

Character building! It’s a pretty rough hostel, 4th floor of quite a dark spiral staircase, the paintings on the walls give a strange vibe, the hostel is definitely not modern, clean or airy. I’m pretty sure my bed hadn’t been made since the last person. The receptionist changed it no problems. The mattress was thin and you could feel the metal frame underneath, a quilt cover was used as a curtain. On first glance the shower was rough but powerful and hot. The receptionist was very friendly

The linens in the beds were very old and the place is very old. Not to mention that it is in the 4th floor and the light in the thight stairs is very bad

Location was perfect! Close to the train station, close for buses to airport. But bear in mind, that this hostel is on the forth floor with no elevator. Best thing about our double bedroom was the big window to be honest. You get broken stockets, a wonky "closet" and thank god you have your own sink. The staff was nice but apparently you weren't allowed to take food or drinks into your room. It's okay for one night.

This place was awful! It’s in desperate need of an update, not only to the walls which have multiple holes and creepy murals on them, but to the beds, toilets, radiator, carpet, doors, you name it. When we arrived the front desk man was either high or still coming down from his drinks the night before: he didn’t give us any information about checking out, what to do if the door is locked, gave us the wrong key twice, couldn’t answer simple questions, I could go on and on. Do NOT stay here!

Location (4th floor). And general value for money. And our room was beside what sounded like a nightclub.
