I cannot express enough how helpful the staff was! They answered every question we had and gave great suggestions about the city. The bar was very friendly and fun. The only complaint I had was the large amount of small children staying here were very loud and unsupervised throughout all hours of the night. The quiet hours were not very enforced.

I loved my time at Purple Nest! The staff were really friendly and helpful, the location was great and the rooms are fine for the price. The walking tour with Greg was awesome and Olivia was a legend at the drink making classes. The pub crawl was fun and a good way to meet people! Overall a great place to stay in Valencia and would definitely recommend it :)

    Fabulous

The location was nice and easy to find. I was a solo female traveler placed in a room with a group of 5 males (who were together). I did kind of wish they took more care in that arrangement, but the group turned out to be super nice so it was ok. The top bunks were really tough to get on and off. Really enjoyed the free meals and activities offered by the hostel. Overall, Valencia was beautiful and a great stay.

The place was fine. They had a "FREE dinner" Advertised and then changed it at the last minute. According to staff they were going to give it to a group that had came by. Miscommunication and lack of honesty in my opinion --points off because of that.

No warm, cozy or soft influences here. It felt more like a school or institution. Decor was non existent or ugly. Noisy. Slamming doors. Staff (with exception of Navena from Serbia) was off-hand and apathetic. Loud noise "music" in kitchen and reception. No bed lamps. No rugs. Not easy to meet others. No fans, A.c. instead. Bike rental was far away and hard to find. Quiet hours not until midnight. Not near bus or train station . 10 min walk to metro (subway) station. Really bad lighting in room.
