Pub for Chelsea supporters , all well and good in the bar , its a little dated but ok , pint is around £4 , accomodation is what you pay for , bunk beds , lockers , its clean enough , the decor is not eye blisteringly but its an old building. Breakfast for £2 is amazing value inc sandwiches ! Showers and hot water a slight problem but it was busy. If you are posh , stay at the Dorchester , if you need a bed in a secure room for a few nights its ok value.

Get what you pay for here - room is secured with a doorcode, and sheets are clean. However showers/toilets were not clean. Would recommend bringing shower shoes. They were kind enough to let us leave our bags and have a shower before check-in. Also had a fantastic breakfast included - had cereals, toasts, fruit, coffee, tea, along with materials to make yourselves sandwiches to take on your day. Location was great - were in walking distance to multiple buses.

Whoever wrote the description for the Queen Elizabeth, deserves an award in creative writing. Read the description and then reduce your expectations by half. The rooms and the facilities are grubby but the water was hot and the bed was clean and comfortable. The 'vegan breakfast' is vegan as the choice is cereal or toast...Better hostels are available for the price but will do in a pinch.

I think this would have been a fine hostel had I not been a woman. I walked in and was one of two women in the whole bar. As I went up to my room a sloppy drunk man tried to get my attention and no bar/hostel staff seemed to notice that he had clearly had too much to drink and was being inappropriate, even though nothing else had their attention. The next morning was a much better experience, but did not help my sense of security as a guest of the hostel. There was a bloodstain on the mattress.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOSTEL. It will ruin London for you & it’s cheap for a reason. That reason being as the people who check in are dodgy af, there’s no kitchen and people will steal from you. It’s in a shitty area, the showers are grim and only one works. The locals who use it as the local pint and blow hangout, there’s always a fight outside. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE I can’t stress this enough, unfortunately the staff are amazing but this is one London experience none should have.Book anywhere else
