Great location - easy walk to Petra and nearby restaurants. They were able to help me set up an overnight in the Wadi Rum Desert Camp. Very nice atmosphere but do not provide free water, it must be purchased.

Decent hostel - beds were clean, and the reception area offered a great view of the city. Unfortunately there was no air conditioning, even though on the website it says there is. Appeared that they were in the middle of some renovations, so perhaps that will change in the future. Bathroom situation was not ideal, but it did the job. Overall, if you want to see Petra and don't want to spend too much on lodging, Rafiki is a good place.

Rafiki’s staff is wonderful, they can help you with anything. For a cheap hostel, Rafiki will be okay for you. For the sake of information, you should know that the building is underwhelming. They turn the water off sometime during the day so the toilet wont flush in the afternoon, the lockers don’t actually work (at least in my dorm) so you have to leave your bag out all day, and there was only one outlet for a room with 6 beds. Other than that, it was a fine place to stay

The staff and the location make this place worth the money. It’s a close walk to Petra and there is free parking outside. There’s a great view from the lobby. I had some things go missing while I was staying here when the room was cleaned, and there is almost no security because everything is just unlocked. There’s also no A/C, despite their Hostelworld page saying there is. Good value for the money, but would probably stay elsewhere with A/C and free water.

Did expect much better than what it is! Actually renovations are going on so rooms are busy and cleanliness(bathroom especially) is not enough good.

The Stuff was really nice but all the facilities were old and broken. The locker didn't work. The living area wasn't really comfortable and the floor looked grubby. I would recommend to have a breakfast somewhere else.

If you dont want to sleep or take a nap, this place is for you. it's noisy and no real thought is put in to the fact that they are running a hostel. The staff is grumpy and takes no real time in making life bearable. no clean beds and holes in the bed, very dusty. Like breathing sand and dust and what not, directly into your lungs. Also the toilet and shower, broken and not working well. And super dirty, even so that the frogs wouldn't take a shower there. the drilling was the worst, super loud
