Everyone was super friendly there. Joined their camp fire and have fun alot. During our stay was not much camper however we don't feel lonely because there are other campsite camper joined us. The cats, dogs and hermit crab are so cute.. The mosquitoes is unavoidable but in return we we had our chill and relax stay.

If you like camping, and being in the nature then it's the perfect place to be. I enjoyed it very much to stay there. Just a few tourists on that side of the island. It's magical. Forest and the beach at the same time, you don't get that to often :)

The camp is located in one of the nicest beaches of the island. When we stayed there, it was really quiet so there wasn’t much of a vibe and there was no food provided so we spent our days elsewhere. Bathrooms were always clean. Friendly staff, they arranged for us to be picked up by a boat to go back to mainland which was v convenient. To make your stay enjoyable, bring headtorch, lots of mozzie repellent, towels, loo paper - and pack light.

Very well located, restaurant/communal area right on the beach. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies to relax in, including a hotly contested beach hut raised up on the rocks with a view out over the beach and out to sea. Tents and facilities are spartan as expected but do the job. Downside is that the tent area is a 5 min walk through the jungle, which makes nipping to the tent to grab things more difficult. Restaurant was closed when I was there, but some nice options nearby.

The rainforest camping was located at the quiet side of Perhentian Kecil, which we were very happy about it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were two toilets and two showers. The flush of one toilet was defective, luckily in the moment there were not much people, so we didn't mind a lot. Summarized, we liked to stay at rainforest camping. There were two things we missed: some lockers for our valuables and more quietness in the night - the generator kept us awake until 12 p.m.

Very nice staff, the place is near a calm and beautiful beach but a little bit far from the party side of the island (but still possible to go there) Tents were great but showers and toilets were not that good Tents are in the middle of the forest so it's very calm and beautiful but there is a lot of mosquitos

    Good

We camped here for two nights as a family of four. The tents were clean when we arrived and the hosts quite nice and welcoming. They filled us in on what was happening on the island and helped us get settled. The accommodation is really basic, but it is camping. We decided that for us, being up in the rainforest made it just too hot, as even after the weather had cooled in the evening there was just NO breeze moving through the tents. So, we didn't sleep very well. Mosquitos are also an issue.
