This place is very beautiful and very special. I greatly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was wonderful and helpful and I made great use of their lovely rooftop cafe. The building is old, so there is no a/c, but it makes up for it with its elegant beauty. I highly recommend!

Single female stayed in 2 bunk bed dorm room. Pros: beautiful old architecture. Free buffet style breakfast and lunch. Free filtered water. Great location. Very clean in Indian standard. Many long timers in spiritual pursuit. Good deep conversations. Very quiet except the barking dogs in the middle of the nights but that has nothing to do with the hotel. Cons: staff not very welcoming. Yoga lessons so-so. Airport pickup expensive. Boat ride expensive.

    Very Good

Charming place to stay but beware of hidden costs. Clean and common area is nice. They charged us the tax on top of online listed price and their mandatory subscription fee to their society. Price ended up significantly higher than expected. Plus, you don’t really know what they do with this money as there is no explanation anywhere. They say it’s for good cause but it’s not transparent at all.

Had a massive struggle to find this place as the door doesn't even have the hostel name on it. Staff were friendly but we struggled at first as they couldn't actually find our booking. Our room was nice and big but was located within another 4 bed room and Had only fans. We were not provided with a lock for our room and were told to buy our own, and then just left by ourselves with no other information provided. Overall, the stay wasn't bad but there were added costs and we expected more.

there is nothing dramatically wrong with this residency but the description for sure does not meet reality. I chose this hostel because they said it is also a cultural centre so I hoped to get some information about the history of the city as well. Instead the only cultural thing they had was the dusty and locked library downstairs, with wonderful books in many languages that I asked 3 times (!) to get access to and nobody could find the keys to open it. none was available to explain me anything
