500 words are not enough for the review that Ratu Kini’s deserves. The team were SO fun, kind and friendly. They will help you with anything, from sunburn to sadness, I arrived with my brother but he left before me and I received many hugs and even a smoothie to cheer me up. If you go here with an open heart and mind you will leave with friends. I was gutted when it was my time to leave. A very special place, full of very special people, there’s nowhere quite like it. Go see for yourself

Had an amazing time here! Living amongst the locals was great they were all super friendly and helpful. It was a really chilled out atmosphere in the day time, with quite a few island activities to do and at nighttime it became really social and the staff were great at making everyone feel welcome and bringing people together. Some very talented fire dancers and in house DJ Junior. 👌

On a beautiful beach, delicious food (breakfast provided; my booking included lunch and dinner too), and great staff. Daily free activities, fair prices for excursions, and staff was helpful answering all my questions. Many backpackers stayed here so the social aspect was great. Keep in mind most of the island is closed off for filming of Surviver so plan accordingly. Also, lockers are in common area. Didn’t want to leave, but when I did I was serenaded goodbye. Overall great experience!

Had an amazing time here, the dorm was huge, the staff got to know you on a first name basis, they were so kind and welcoming. Nico and Shane in the diveshop were fantastic as well. Can't recommend this place enough

Staff were fantastic and always looking to give you a positive experience - they deserve better living space. Facility needs money put into it. Tons of activities presented. Would like to see regular snorkelling/diving daily at different sites (only goes if 4 pax sign up which is hard if you are a solo traveller) and more info to see multiple islands of Fiji.

I had a wonderful stay at Ratu Kini. The staff was very friendly and kind. The food prices were affordable unlike most other stays on the islands. The WiFi costs $20FJD/day which I think is wildly expensive but it’s optional. Just a nice, super chill, place to relax. Wish they had a hammock or some lounge chairs but for the price, I can’t complain.

    Very Good

The staff was absolutely great! So much fun. Facilities are all fairly basic but good. My only issue was that there were several times where I specifically asked the chef if my meals were gluten free, which he adamantly said they were, only afterwards did I find out that they did use sauces which contained gluten such as soy sauce and oyster sauce. As a result, I ended up having stomach pains and digestion issues while I was there. I wouldn't recommend for anyone with celiac disease.

    Very Good

Decent hostel, mostly lovely staff, fun to explore different parts of the island (some beautiful beaches and great snorkelling if you know where to find it). Food was ok but not amazing. I wish the hostel didn't feel the need to pump loud music all evening, particularly if most people clearly just want to talk and relax rather than party. Killed the vibe for me a bit. But overall a nice place to spend a few days.

Small boat picked us up from the middle of the ocean BEWARE WE WERE SOAKED : hilarious boat ride and part of the fun right? The people & atmosphere were amazing and we honestly made such good friends. HOWEVER the staff, except two ana and tiva (bartender/ please excuse the spelling) were very questionable. Not welcoming and the receptionist very rude. Bathrooms dirty. Beware of the locals very touchy and even tried to kiss a couple of girls. wouldnt waste my time in going, Yasawa islands better.
